I settled on the TT Essential II 15L pack for my applications. Really liked that it had outer MOLLE webbing which I used to add 3 pouches which upped the capacity by about 8L and with more organization capability. They make awesome packs, im in the US and didnt see anything quite like it here.

When I'm out filming there's usually a Robin or two around me. They are very brave and sometimes come within a few inches of me to see what I'm doing. I always though they were just nosey, however, I've heard they're very territorial so they're probably making sure I don't have any beef with them 😃 Either that or they like photobombing the humans. I hope you have a great weekend

Hello Moorlander. A big thank you and congratulations for your excellent quality video and for the presentation of this product as well as all the ones you can share on your TH-cam channel. I'm really a fan of the format you use. I subscribe because I really appreciate your work. I was looking for a fitted bag like this and my god that I have tried of all brands and formats but here it is, although I love my wife very much she refuses to enter into "this delirium" of evacuation bag. She sees no interest in it...until 3 months ago. An apartment next to ours caught fire and fortunately there were no injuries but she was able to realise that all my attempts to make her understand some things were no longer fiction and although being a former soldier and firefighter, for her like many people in the world think that it only happens through a television set and that it can't happen to them. So my mission was to try to find a bag that will not ask him much BUT that will make the difference and in that I think I found it by the TT survival pack I just ordered. Another anecdote, 1 week ago my 26-year-old daughter was hospitalised and had to be operated on. That's well over for her but now my baby (yes even at 26 years old our children will always remain our babies 😁) tells me "Dad, I have nothing, no toilet kit, nothing to recharge my phone, no spare clothes etc." and at that time, I smiled even if she suffered a lot and she understood and answered me "do you have everything you need in your car trunk? "I answered him "according to you? "And there, she says to me "ok dad I'll never make fun of you again when you tell us about always having a loan bag just in case!! Sorry for the length of the message but I wanted with this comment to make everyone understand that it is not a delirium to predict and that it can happen to everyone. A big hello from Brittany in France and have a good and beautiful day and take good care of yourself.

I'm trying to decide between the Viktos 25L backpack and one of the many Tasmanian Tiger packs I've found. I just discovered TT and know almost nothing about them. I have been a huge fan of Viktos for several years now, so I'm sure I will be happy with their pack. However, I'm really intrigued by the packs that I've seen from TT. Thanks for the video!

    Thanks for this video!
Apart from the backstraps, which I'm perfectly fine with, there are some other points that I'd like to see changed in an improved version: The hook and loop is fine but apart from the strap on the 8.1 pouch there is not much to fix it in place - a hook strap on the back of the 8.1 would be fine.
Within the pack it would be great to have more packs removable - weight and cost aside. In addition the packs/pouches are without interior organisation - a possibility for exchanging these for other packs from tt, which have this features, would be great - and worth any extra Euro or Pound in my opinion.
Best regards and thanks for your work from Germany!
    Ralph

Hi Ralph. I hope you're well buddy. It's funny you should say that. I could have sworn when I tested this out earlier this year more pouches came off from the hook & loop so I'm not sure if they've updated the design from feedback. I think the top two smaller pouches owuld have made sense as then you from lid would have been completely clear. I have my fingers and toes crossed that this will be a staple bag for TT and they continue to develop it further. All my best from across the Channel

IMO a sternum strap is important if you don't have or can't hold onto the shoulder strap hand loops, for example if you hike with poles, ride a bike or do XC skiing, or I guess need to carry a firearm? These activities also require a lot of shoulder movement which will cause the shoulder straps to slip more easily, especially if your bag is heavily loaded.

Thank you for the kind words. They're both awesome companies to buy from for sure. TT make amazing gear that's often specialised. Generally you can always make their bags work for day to day stuff. Savotta stuff is also amazing however theirs are very simple with no frills. Theyvre also great for EDC use too. TT gear is very tough, whereas Savotta gear is bomb proof. Whichever way you go, you'll have a pack that will last a lifetime

@@MoorlanderEDC Eagle Industries had bags you could buy that had much the same feature. I just googled and could not find the link but they were geared toward helicopter flight crews to bail out and have an E&E type kit they could throw on as this bag with mesh pockets inside. The reason for those double handles was so you could hang it in the aircraft out of the way. If you search on TH-cam "Eagle Go to Hell Bag" you should find a video or two showing the updated one that I've never seen for sale. As a survival type bag this design looks perfect for all the bits and bobs you might need.
