Iam a 54 yr old USMC vet. An old alice pack guy.. Since about 2008 I have struggled finding a good simple tuff bucket pack. Let me just say, the jakkari S is it! I love it! Very tough, very very simple. I did buy the inexpensive shoulder pads from Varusteleka, its perfect.

Good morning my friend, I hope you're well. Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. It's a brilliant bag that's very hard to beat. It's simplicity is what makes it so useful and versatile. Thank you for watching

Paused vid on the Helikon Bergen. I sent mine back to Military 1st, because of the outside pouches which were too small. I could just about fit a 75cl TBS cup in the side, and just about get my Vanquest Husky organiser in the middle one. This was how I'd imagined setting up with the Bergen, and just the difficulty getting these items into the pouches put me off immediately. Yes there's the Matilda pack as an alternative, but I'd like to see this pack with bigger more practical outer pouches. I've already asked Helikon and they said Matilda. I bought a 5.11 Rush 24 instead and love it, Pathfinder bottle pouch mollied onto the side, much better.

Almost impossible to beat the Rush 24 packs for EDC, flight bags, day hikes, etc. Virtually indestructible too.

@@vonsprague7913 The organisation is great, can get most of what I need into the admin pouch, and if needed I can molle the Vanquest pouch to one side, and have the Pathfinder bottle pouch on the other. I've bought straps separately for underneath as well, roll mats/camp chair etc. It's very comfy on the shoulders, had my first walk out with it this weekend.

My vote for AMAP III. I use it like a EDC Daddy Tacticool Backpack with the EDC Panel from Agilite. I suggest the CTactical CT15 v2, but not for warm seasons. Thanks for your super top content!

That AMAP looks amazing! Really WOW! I used the TT survival pack for a few weeks, its a really great bagpack for edc... but i switched back to my warriorassaultsystems helmet cargo pack. You can put it on your plate carrier or with the straps over a chest rig... you also can connect to a chestrig with the clips... its the same size as the amap. Great little bag that im using many years and even if i try other bags i always go back to that. Give it a try.

Some cool and unusual packs there. The Tasmanian Tiger Survival pack reminded me a bit of the Prometheus Shado as in trying to be all things to all men. I have been using a Mystery Ranch rip-ruck 15l for nearly 2 years and recommend it highly. Great channel.

The Sarma is interesting as well, I have the Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140 from Varusteleka, must be the best value for money knife you can buy.

I have the HT Bergen (not used yet) but 5 ... uuhhh ... 6 (:p) very nice backpacks !
I have also the HT Grounhog (10 liters, I use it quite often) but it is not in the tough side like these 6 here :)
For the Tasmanian Tiger Survival Pack, there are 2 types ('normal' and IRR one), the price is not same and it is not always written wich version a site is selling (not to say that there are very big differences with prices even for the same tyoe ... 180 to 340 euros ;))
