  • Ready to hit some legs and grow some quads?
    Started shooting an entire leg workout last night and I ended up getting my butt kicked on the hack squat so this entire video is dedicated to all the different variations I did.
    Let me know in the comments below what style of hacks you like to do (better be some Platz style).

    Dude , you’re my go to !! Been hitting the weights fairly hard since the late 80’s and I had completely forgotten what a leg “pump” felt like until You taught me the 3/4 rep Or whatever you call it but essentially just not coming all the way up on your squats...Or whatever leg workout exercise you’re doing. Light weight getting straight “shakey” !! And everyone who’s serious knows that’s exactly what you’re striving to achieve!! TY BROTHER!! Stay safe 🙏🏼

      @poolkrooni 4 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      julian hayfield eysturdal ...he doesn't believe in numbers that much. you're not chasing a number of reps in his gym, you're looking to connect and break down muscle. 6-12 on compound, 20-30 on isolation, but the overarching theme is "however many it takes"

    I am watching, re-watching and watching again. I agree - sets and reps are not the answer. They are a starting point. If I go on feel alone though, I've walked out of the gym feeling like I could have done more for that body part but the next day I couldn't move I was so sore. So "feel" wasn't the answer that day. How do you know you've adequately stimulated a muscle to call that workout done?

    Focused on glutes more than quads.
    Bulgarian split squats, split dead lifts and single leg hip thrusts with no rest between, a little before the last round.
    Then leg curls, extensions, toe and heel raises.
