Nice intro vid for those of us who wish to learn, enjoying Gears 4 as a newcomer as I've learnt to hold my own. Struggling to aim while strafing though, pushing both thumbsticks + A + aiming is a bit rough at the moment. That lefty flip is very easy though and already won a few 1v1s with it! Many thanks!

I need a general set of tips for "when it's legal to press A to get into cover such that the character will actually slide into that piece of cover and not just stand still or worst of wall, roll". okay I will definitely work on something, for now I just suggest either continue practicing or go in private match to get a feel and a bit of muscle memory before you start fighting with that style!

I think one of the main things you should've touched on and the most important in my opinion is TIMING. You gotta time your bounces correctly to the timing of the gnasher fire rate. I've vsed great wall bouncers but terrible shooters all because they don't know how to aim or time their shots. I personally love drunken strafe good players and roadie run. Throws them off so good. But against noobs wall bouncing and just hard aiming is the way to go. Drunken strafe is definitely great if you do it correctly because you can hit all shots consistently depending how good you are anyway.
Also a lot of players have high sensitivity. No. That is not required. As long as you hit your shots and bounce at the right times your good to go. Its not about how fast you bounce but how good you can aim WHILE moving smoothly.
Man I just can't seem to get it. It's so hard to look all the way at the wall (left stick) and move real fast off the wall (right stick) while pressing A real fast and still looking and moving back n forth real fast. You made it seem so effortless. My hands just don't move like that cuz I play thumbs. Maybe I'm not pressing the right buttons. good tuturial you should play customs with me and my homies its quite intense dogeball with 2 people spectating and who ever is the last player with the least kills and points gets relegated (meaning you gotta sit on the bench aka spectate slot) untill your next turn. honestly its the most intense custom games i got a whole bunch of players who play custom games on a daily basis.

Deerek Infyx everything here is learn from playing tbh wall bouncing u can go into a private and practice but everything else you'll learn yourself from playing I recommend play koth because you wouldn't care about how many times u die but also play team death so u cant learn to be smart as well when playing

zeus remember the godzwalk movement back in the day with gow1 sniper battles well thay movement still works really well to date especially if you play claw. people used to call it the godwalk or something silly like that haha maybe u know what im talking about!
How do you not get stopped mid-wallbounce? I played GoW4 and after the 3rd bounce it doesn't let me pull back, it just makes me hit the wall completely, I know the put a delay on the wallbounce, but how do you avoid it?
