    Very well done video. You are totally right about getting to Mt Rainier early. I grew up in the Tacoma area. Growing up, we'd take a day trip up there once every few years. I remember the days when it didn't matter the time of day you arrived, parking wasn't an issue.
    On a fiberglass RV, used dry sheets (Bounce, etc) work great for removing bugs. I never believed it until I tried it.

    Wow....how high does your drone fly? How do,you even keep track of it?

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My drone will probably go a mile away and my controller lets me know how far and where exactly it is. I don't generally fly it that far.

  • @ConnieMacks

    Great video Liz, and good drone footage as well. I don't have a bucket list of these locations but definitely need to create a to-do list with locations like these!

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ConnieMacks glad you enjoyed it, it sure is fun to get out and explore. I’m working on a video now about the types of campers and why I went from a camper van to a fifth wheel. Thanks for the great suggestion!

    • @ConnieMacks
      @ConnieMacks 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LizAmazing oh, that will be a good one I'm sure. I see many couples use radio communication when manuvering through, around, and in spots and I often wonder, is that because they can... Or do you need the "spotter"? I've been looking at Class C's with the idea of a small tow vehicle as well. I'm completely new to these concepts and I've driven a dually diesel but I just can't imagine trying to back a long trailer into a spot. I'm an expert geek, but not so much hauling! ;-)

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ConnieMacks I’ve done most of my camping with a partner and I think it is easier having someone there to keep an eye out. Now that I’m on my own it takes me longer to back into a site. This is because I get out a few times to look- even though I do have a backup camera. The more I do it the quicker I am. AND I remind myself it’s not a race. I’ve had two Class C’s before- they are great!

    • @ConnieMacks
      @ConnieMacks 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LizAmazing good feedback...I saw on another channel that they mentioned if you are in a hurry that's usually when you make mistakes. The RV (used) market... So many choices! I saw where you started with a B and then realized you needed more room. I'll also have a pet traveling with me and he's my little partner! Maybe one day we can have a Meetup for our furry sidekicks! :-D

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ConnieMacks That would be fun to meet up! So never back into a site when you are in a hurry, hungry or need to pee! Be very careful shopping for used campers. I looked at a used Class C-- was a total rust bucket underneath. One thing about the C's-- they often have TONS of storage! I've owned two of them.

    Love the beautiful photography. Did you have to make reservations at all the campgrounds before you took off on the road? How long did you plan before you actually took off?

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I started making reservations for out West on June 1 for the time period of June 30 through the end of September. I like to always keep at least a couple months reservations out. And I can always change them if I want-- but at least I don't have to worry about not having a place to go.

      I work as a drone photographer so I make my drone pay for itself. Yep, definitely too pricey as a toy. Plus...you never know when you will lose it or crash into a tree!

      west75 I’ve been a pro photographer for 20 years so drone was a natural extension. I get my jobs through hustle and word of mouth. Everyone needs a drone photo! However being licensed is the way to go!

    • @LizAmazing

    That's not a campground. That's a parking lot.
    It seems like the closer that they cram people together the more they charge.
    I would never stay in a place like that.
    I also don't want to be around noisy or messy dogs. Same thing with noisy and messy people.

    • @LizAmazing
      @LizAmazing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, I didn't expect to like it. But it turned out to be just fine. I think that's one of the many wonderful things about RV life. There were so many different ways to do it.
