What a journey we've been on! So this is it today, the end of the final adventure from the base game! I've been super looking forward to getting to the open plays since at least December now guys, keep an eye out because they're really very cool. (And yeah, screw you "Troy".)
Man, what a cool conclusion to the base game. Conquering troy finally bit us in the butt (kinda). I'm happy there's more to come and am looking forward to the bonus episodes.
What an end to this campaign. Beautiful. Looking forward to the bonus episodes, I played SOOOOO MUCH of that sandbox, it was my favorite, I think I know that map inside and out. :D Curious to see what you make of it with all your crazy plans and knowledge. :) So glad it's not over yet.
first i want to say that I'm sad this is the end of the series i hope you are gonna keep going with the Poseidon DLC, now as for the explanation of the olive oil and fleece that Athena grants you, for olive oil is if you remember one of my previous comments of how Athena and Poseidon both competed to be the patron god of Athens, so they both gave the Athenians gifts, well the gift that won the Athenians favor for her was an olive tree, as for fleece, first Athena is not exactly the goddess of warriors she is known more as the goddess of battle strategy and warfare (this is just a side note), now the reason she gives you fleece is because as the game said she is also the goddess of crafts and Athena is considered a master weaver, now just a little story about Athena and weaving, once there was a women named Arachne, she use to boast of being a better weaver than the gods themselves namely Athena, so Athena being well Athena, she decide to disguise herself as and old women to find Arachne and then revealed herself and challenged Arachne to a weaving duel, needless to say Athena lost, and in anger she cursed Arachne saying "she will weave for the rest of her life" turning Arachne into a spider, mother of all spiders to be precise, and that is also why spiders are called arachnids plus Arachne also means spider in Greek, so now you know that Athena kind of created spiders and Medusa, hope this was an interesting read
I love this because I had mentioned the Arachne story the last time he built a temple to Athena. I love that story and I especially love the depiction of Arachne in the new Hades 2 game
Interesting episode. It cool to see what happen if you do the mission this way. When i played this it was 5 minutes step because i conquered etiopia and other rival city on the military colony step so all i had to do was assault troy.
