My neighbors have a couple of dogs who bark all the time. It's obnoxious but I would NEVER even consider poisoning them.
Chris. No cat will be like George. He was one of a kind. I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved that you shared him with us all that follow Bondi Vet. You'll get the perfect cat when you least expect it.
The little black pup that they thought swallowed the safety pin is the BEST LOOKING and CUTEST PUG PUP ive ever seen
Them harassing Chris into getting Sydney is hilarious 😭
Actually it’s not funny at all. Maybe if it was already over a year, or 2, since George’s passing it would’ve been funny, but it hasn’t been. They just need to stop and let Chris emotionally heal from George’s passing; try again when Chris is ready.
Actually it may be what God has ordered to help him get on with life.
Ya!! I'm like: Dude! Just adopt him!
@@hallykat6402 Yes, true. But it’s funny at the ways they tried to get Chris to adopt Sydney. It’s clearly stated in the comment, if you ask me.
It’s actually really cruel, he had just lost his cat of 12 years only a couple of months prior and now they want to throw another cat on him like that.
The way George hissed at the dog and just casually walked away 😭😭😂
I've never seen a dog look so worried and sad as little gizmo. So cute
I might have been on the "wait until you're ready" club of grieving pet parents, but a week after my cat died I almost tripped on a mangey malnourished kitten. She was just the thing for me and she needed me. Nothing will replace your friend and there is no amount of time that can pass which will make it better either. Might as well give another friend a second chance
Rip George 😓❤️ he came to you when he needed someone he could trust the most! He got to be loved and cared for in the best possible way and he will never be replaced ❤️
You do know how old this program is right? George has been gone for many years.
@@britishbobcat2098 so that's must mean we absolutely can not comment on the video then eh.
I imagine she's abusive with her daughter's as well if she waited that long to take her 3rd daughter so she said to the vet 😢
How did he die
@@morganwhitworth484j
I have always been mezmorized by the story of Dr Chris and his cat George. From George's tragic introduction to Dr Chris, to their bond as co-habitants and George's unique personality and that Bubba looking face of his(too cute) so endearing. I will never tire of the tales of George the cat and Dr Chris. RIP Good Man George. 😸🐾🌈❤️
Going into that mud in bare feet to get that monster alligator is the first time I was totally convinced you guys are nuts!
I was convinced the first time I saw them in action.
My dog just passed away ten days ago, age 13, so i can see where Chris is coming from not being ready for a new cat and George passed away month ago. I remember that episode when George was brought in. That was a tough one.
I just lost my 15 yr old ginger boy Rufus on monday..on 3 days but miss him soooo much..they leave such a hole when they cross the 🌈 bridge..
@@kimmarievan-ever6599 It's been 2 month now and I miss him every single day. I knew that day is going to come but that was out of nowhere really.
im sorry for your loss of ur pet, i understand it alot i had 2 puppies that both got hit by cars in the same place 1 after another as they dorr dashed, which is why now i door train my dogs
Sydney was making biscuts for you, that is a sign!
Nice to see that a wild animal in captivity still uses its natural instinct ❤
I inherited a cat who is very similar to George in personality. He was rejected by the rescues as "unadoptable" so my mother who had fostered his litter took him back. When mom passed unexpectedly I inherited him. He is a 1 person cat. He does not go to the vet for routine anything because it is just too much stress for all involved and his revenge afterwards can be months of household destruction. It's bad enough when I do the routine treatments at home with a sedative in him. I also do wildlife rescue and rehab so various other critters are often in my home requiring much of my (aka Joey's) time and attention. He'll sit nearby staring and "threatening" whatever animal I happen to be feeding or treating. He's loving to a degree with me, but he has strict rules. He will not tolerate being held or picked up. I can pet him if I'm sitting down and only with 1 hand if he wants to be petted. He has never been abused or mistreated a day in his life as my mom had him from a tiny baby and he's the only one in his litter that is like this. His siblings and mom all found good homes, but not Mr. Grumpy Pants. I guess being vaccinated and neutered were and are abuses to his rules that he will never forgive or forget LOL.
30DayRide It indeed takes a V•E•R•Y special someone to love the "Joeys" of this world and it's balm😻to their soul (whether they admit it or not😾) that you are one of them🐾
I have a cat who was super sweet as a kitten but is now two years old and very standoff-ish, hates being picked up, will only let you pet her when she’s sleepy, and watches us 24/7
Some cats simply have different personalities, just like people, and I love when people can accept cats how they are and that they’re not all the same
He sounds really cute, and good on you for having such patience with him.🙂
Bless you for your rescue work and I am sorry for your loss, bless your Mum for being a foster career (something only the biggest-hearted people can manage), and bless Mr Grumpy Pants for never forgetting the indignity of neutering! Much love from the UK
this is why people say cats dont love you
i know this an old episode and i have seen it before many times. I also understand the nurses mean well. but when you suddenly lost a loved pet for most pet owners grieving takes time it takes as long as it takes in order to heal the broken heart. and it takes time take the necessary steps to adopt a new pet.
😢 sorry Chris lost his cat George, may he rest in peace, 🙏 another great video thanks 🖤
@@hannahmontana9307 why do you think that poisoned dog and the death of a cat, deserves funny face emojis, ???
@@janetdear6429 cause its a bot and not a actual person. check other comments :P
Sydney is so sweet and adorable! He loves Chris. It’s so cute that they want Chris to adopt this cute kitty.
I dont understand how somebody can be so coldhearted to poison a pet
Im thrilled the adorable cat found a home it's so loveable
I know exactly how it is to lose a member of the family I lost my 15yr old cat in 2018 he died in my arms when I woke up at 7am in the morning I can't imagine what he went through the night before he held on to say goodbye to me I miss him so much 😢 RIP my love
Poor little Gizmo,
I’m glad he ended up okay though.
Better than what happened to my dog (three different dogs) as a kid.
One day our dog was acting strange and shaking like that,
We rushed him to the vet and found that he had been poisoned with rat poison.
There was so much poison that he was too far gone by the time we got to the vet. He had to be helped over the rainbow bridge because there was extensive damage. We found out later that it was our next door neighbor that had thrown rat poison over the fence with dog food(canned food) mixed in. I will always hate those people. Disgusting monsters.
A totally different time we lived on a farm, and our two goldens had broken out of their enclosure while we were at church. They were super friendly and wouldn’t hurt anything and we’re just chasing eachother around and from the sounds of it our neighbors saw them on their land. all of the neighbors knew who the goldens were, where they lived and that they were extremely friendly and wouldn’t hurt a fly (literally) And because they were on their land there was one neighbor who decided to “handle them” the person shot both of the goldens multiple times. Killing one of them and wounding the second. The second golden apparently waited till his best friend passed away (he didn’t want to leave him alone) before he ran home to ask us for help.
We rushed him to the vet and he barely made it. ( he lived a long healthy life after ) but the neighbor who shot them never showed told us or gave us the respect of letting us bring home our golden.
We had to find out from a second neighbor who had tried to intervene and said that the neighbor who shot them didn’t have to do that that they weren’t harming anyone or anything no risk to livestock or anything that they were playing and just came when they were called and were subsequently shot.
My heart is still broken to this day.
People who are monsters like that make me so ill.
.
😭😭😭😭
So many disgusting people out there 🤬
I’m sorry for what they did to your dogs😢 I wouldn’t forgive those idiots either I’m sorry for loss😢
It's a shame no one 'took care' of those monsters. Anyone who would do that to a dog would do it to a human too.
You poor love that neighbour was just bloody evil 😡😡
I hate the world.
Chris will know when the right cat has chosen him. 😻
The Pug melted my heart ❤️ I lost my Pug a little over a year ago at the age of 14z he was a black pug as well. They are such characters!
Sorry for you loss :(
I lost mine 2 months ago. She was a fawn pug and the runt. She made it to 16. My heart exploded seeing the pug too. It still hurts so bad walking into the house and her not being there anymore.
I really appreciate all of these vets, they go through so much but it’s so lovely..they do their best and it makes me smile so much
Oh, Sydney is just adorable! I hope he gets a wonderful forever-family.
Tim and the whole group well done for uniting the hearts 💜💜
We had a German Shorthaired Pointer named Fred when I was a kid and he would run full speed the second you let him off the lead. He had insane stamina and strength, too. My dad was the only one who could walk him because he would just drag you. He was well trained when we got him, but he was young and needed way too much attention for two working parents with three young kids. We gave him to a guy with two female GSPs. The guy really loved his dogs, and vice versa, so we're confident he lived a really wonderful life.
I have 2 gsp’s, Albert and Murphy. Albie is almost 5 and Murphs is 8 and a half weeks. They are my world , but they both have so much energy. I know what your saying, they hate their leads and love to drag us, but they are the most cuddly dogs ever.❤
@@moocow6160 Fred was kinda dumb, so he didn't really understand his own strength. He was well trained, but sometimes the things he did made you wonder if he just had marbles in his skull instead of a brain. He never pointed ever once and he also thought kites were birds, so taking him to the beach was generally not relaxing for my parents. He was a really great dog, just not ideal for a family with 3 young kids and two working parents. I'm sure he was elated to be with a family with other dogs, though. Probably got spoiled rotten, too.
I watched the episode with george when it was first on TV. I'm glad he lived a long life with you :)
When someone loses a pet it's like losing a family member. Grief is a process that can't be rushed. Trying to push Dr. Chris into taking another pet when he's not ready is kind of mean.
I'm glad Sydney found the right home for herself.
Love from Canada 🇨🇦, tell Chris to go for it, he has more love to give.🍁🐘🌞🇨🇦
George passing away broke my heart I know how much Chris loved George this type of situation does break my heart
I really hope that someone told that blonde woman with the lame dog, that she should have brought her dog in MONTHS ago when she ruptured her ligament. There’s no need for her to be in pain for so long
Absolutely agree, like why wait so loooong 😪
SASH is a referral hospital. She only got a referral when the lameness went from occasional at permanent. This was a failure of her regular vet.
Our dog had the same problem and our vet knew what was wrong immediately. I hope she can make a full recovery but I worry with how long they left it alone.
@@transsnackNo, this is owner's failure. If you see an animal suffer and not get better, you seek another opinion. Right away, not half a year later.
The only thing I can think of is that she couldn't afford the vet bill, but couldn't she have asked for help? Surely people would rush to donate to help an injured animal!
Good video. There's a red flag of neglect for the dog that was forced to wait for months before getting medical treatment after limping for so long. I hope that their owner was reported.
Dude if I had a pet that was limping after an injury, they be sent to the vet the same day. Despite having a full-time job and caring for the home too. Family first, amr folks?
The dog wasn’t limping for months. She had limped a few times over the course of months.
Neglect!!!!
the sad thing is her going to the vet at all is reason for a vet to not be able to report the owner because it's proof she's looking for help
I understand why Chris wants to wait until he's ready for a new pet, a pet picks their own fur parent, all 3 of mine picked me!💖🐕🐶🐾🥰
Yes they do! I lost my Corgi who was12yrs old about 7mos ago. Still emotionally raw.
I feel like she'll direct me to my next fur baby.
bless the worker at the zoo - he really cares about his animals - I been to many zoos and have never seen this in the zoo keepers - this is greatb
I'm not a huge pug lover but I must say the pug in this is actually cute 🥰
Sydney is addicted to kneading and I love it
Wonderful episode. I remember my knee surgery. I wish my recovery was that easy
So do I.
@James Thomas who are you and why are you messaging random people
All animals are feeling a lot better. Thank you for caring of them. 🤗🥰😚
This is one of the only times I truly do hope a youtube video is being deceptive. Losing an animal, especially one you love and who had been through a lot, is absolutely devastating and every person gets over it in their own time. My beloved kitty of over 13 years died over 6 months ago and I'm still not ready for another cat and don't think I will be for awhile. Everyone heals in their own time and shouldn't be pressured into handling it in a way that's not right for them.
Once again, the Vets on this show are incredibly talented! I am addicted to the unusual fixes pets get into!
I LOVE ❤ TO WATCH BONDI VET AND I APPRECIATE ALL OF THE VETS WHO HELP ALL OF THE ANIMALS ALL OF YOU ARE SO AMAZING
I’m glad that Sydney Brown got home. Chris may not have another cat but I’m glad that Sydney got home.
The poor dog damage her leg and was in agony for months before she takes her to the vet.. that's disgusting. If you did that to a child that would be child neglect..
@susan ruthroff that's because you care and love your fur baby.. if only everyone was like you..
You can say that again!
The limp was on and off. She brought the dog 🐕in when it was constant
@@lolabierlair3219 Making excuses for not taking the dog straight away to a vet FOR MONTHS NOT DAYS, just proves that you are totally incompetent of taking care of anything living.
Well I have to wonder, the beginning of the video mentioned this was a referral hospital. Some referral hospitals will only take animals by referral and not right off the bat. They never mentioned if this issue had been addressed or checked by other vets prior to the hospital visit. An off and on limp can be difficult to work with depending on the underlying cause. But yeah I wish she’d been seen much much sooner.
How could anyone hurt an animal? People are monsters...
the fact someone would do it to stop barking
the person who poisoned gizmo I hope they're never allowed around animals again.
@@Xand3rCha0s360 I'd love to get my hands on them.
I lived in a town in Ohio several years ago where someone spent a summer terrorizing all dog owners, they threw antifreeze soaked trees over fences to dogs. They never caught them, and no idea why, and it was dogs all over town, so it wasn't a barking issue somewhere. I hope whoever did it gets caught or punished by the universe somehow. :( I know of four dogs that died that way, not sure if there was more. it was awful and I would search my yard every time before I let my black lab out, I was so paranoid that summer.
@@dyanacollins4428 I absolutely hate when people do that. The fact that there is also a subreddit of people who hate dogs and people with dogs and say some horrible things also makes me sick.
When I was a kid my neighbor’s dog was poisoned by a random man walking by. It was absolutely heartbreaking, that dog was a sweetheart and would lick my hand every time I came over to her and just wanted to play constantly. I still miss her to this day and I don’t let my dog out in the backyard unsupervised due to knowing that people will do such terrible things. I’m getting a tall privacy fence when I move into my own house so my pets will be as safe as possible.
Aww that cat is simply so desirable it's so loving
I love how all vets are always like "the problem can x, y, z... and it's a pug"
I had a GSHP That I LOVED DEARLY..HIS name was MAX..Great dogs .❤️❤️🇺🇸🐕🦴🐶🐾🐾🐶
I'd have less living neighbors, and be in jail if I suspected one of them poisoned my dog. 🤬
Why r u nearly answering every entry?... = creepy...
@@NikkieRoxxx prob a scammer 😂
This part was weird to me. Was there any evidence that this was a purposeful poisoning? There are many ways a dog could come in contact with toxic substances. Including common plants found in the backyard. And many wildlife species. Immediately jumping to malicious actions seems a bit much. Especially as they never were able to identify the toxin.
I had someone poison my cat. A neighbor. She hated my cat because he ran across her fence and her dog would go ballistic every time barking like crazy and then she'd start yelling. She constantly told me to keep my cat away because he would "tease her dog on purpose"... Umm. No. Cats are just meandering fools, lady. Anyway, at first she caught him cos he was so sweet it was probably easy. She took him twice to the pound saying she found him blocks from our home. But see, my cat wouldn't even go two houses away from home so I knew she was lying. When I brought him back both times she threw him poisoned meat. It took him a month to die. We kept hoping he would live. The vet said nothing could be done and we couldn't afford the $600 to see what type of poison it was. He has diarrhea, vomiting and could barely eat until he finally passed. It was heartbreaking. She also poisoned my next door neighbor's cat. Their cat suffered for months before she passed as well. God has plans for this "lady". Lemme tell you.
@@silverkiss37 I hope she goes to prison for life

Oh My Gosh! A beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer! ❤❤💖 Jemima is absolutely gorgeous!
I’ve never watched a cheetah in real life. They are stunning! But my favorite are the dogs 🐩
Great episode. Everyone did a great job....as usual. Love you guys
No one or anything can replace something special. But they can make their own place
Bro that alligator (Horse) is quite literally just the reptile version of Uzui. Bro got 3 wifes
I completely enjoyed this show. I loved the crocodile kiss 💋 😘
Hi I'm huge fan love your videos I learn heeps!
When a pet dies and someone gets you a new one. That’s not replacing it! You can never replace that pet! It’s just making a new friend! you know putting another peace in the puzzle of your heart. ❤️
Never force pets on others, if someone says they’re not ready, they’re not ready. When my first dog passed at 16 years old it took me 5 years before I was ready for another dog. Now that dog just passed this year at 14 and I do not want another dog. If someone were to gift me a pet, I would decline it or take it to a shelter. Listen to people when they talk and tell you their feelings.
When someone has lost a loved one, it takes time to move past it. Grief is a process that differs with individuals and circumstances. When you're ready, you'll know. And no amount of pressure can expedite that process.
Sidney Brown lol, he should take that kitty. not always will you meet such a sweet and kind soul ❤❤
I’m so sorry for your lost 😞

Bondi Vet is still ongoing but Chris left some time ago. They occasionally insert his old episodes in. This entire episode is people no longer on the show.
That is the cutest black pug🤗🤗🤗🥰
You can never replace a pet you can just extend your love to another my dog that have had since I was 9 years old passed away last year his name was a rescue dog. We had him from when I was 9 to when I was 21
Hm, I'm thinking Gizmo might've ate a plant that was toxic, dogs eat grass occasionally and he might've done that and accidently ingested some type of toxic plant.
Sydney is a wonderful cat. ❤
I so excited to see this video
In the past I had 2 PUGS just LOVED THEM to pieces...GREAT DOGS...Now I have 2 ALAPAHA BLUEBLOOD BULLDOGS... ❤️❤️🇺🇸🐕🦴🐾🐾🐶 Love His name OX and GIZMO...
All of these stories are wonderful, yet I just have to comment that it is great to see that Jemima (GSHP) did not have her tail docked. Kudos to Australia and the UK, and other European countries for banning this cruel and unnecessary practice, along with ear cropping. I'm Canadian and although we are moving in the right direction, it still remains an option for breeders and showing/judges.... for zero purpose whatsoever other than human's ideals for 'looks' regardless of the pain inflicted on the puppies.
The cat that was thrown into the water, was that George?
Yes
my dog has had the CCL surgery TWICE! She is currently recovering well rn :)
one of my scottish Deerhounds. pulled her cruciate ,i had heard of it ,so recognised the problem
fortunately she didn’t need surgery ,but had to,much to her disgust, stay on the lead for three months .
Ligaments have a poor blood supply so take a long time to heal.
i dislocated my kneecap a few years back painful, almost passed out with the pain .,i had to wear a knee brace for months
pops out occasionally ,but got used to popping in back (break out in sweat n feel sick every time itgoes ),always have a knee support handy ,even keep one in my handbag 😂😂 just in case it goes when i am out n about ,at work riding,or going for a walk with dogs etc..
I had an male orange tabby who was 14, and my buddy, when he passed away from congestive heart failure. Less than a year later, I was given another cat. I was NOT ready. Yet, I'm glad I got him. Because, now, he is 15. And he is my buddy as well. I will never forget my first cat. But I believe that animals pass away to make room for others who need a home as well. Just saying.
Why would you wait a few months before you take your dog to the vet if she started to limp? I'd be quick on the phone to my vet if any of my cats started to limp 🥺💔
If the only thing this woman's sister was worried about was her coming home and cleaning up after a sick dog, I would not be letting her look after my animals. It sounds to me like she could care less about the dog.
Love the old fashion x ray machine
