- In this video, we show you some secret tips on how to Reset Sharp all brand TV.
- If you own a Sharp Aquos LC-52D64U LCD television, you may have had some issues during its operational lifetime.
Calling technical support is often the wisest option, but sometimes a simple factory reset is all that's needed to restore your television to perfect working order.
There are two methods to facilitate a factory reset: on-screen and using the hardware directly.
Hard Reset
Step 1: Unplug the television.
Step 2: Press and hold the "Channel Down" and "Input" buttons on the panel.
Step 3: Plug the television back in while holding down these buttons. You may need the assistance of another person to accomplish this step.
Step 4: Keep holding the buttons until the television powers back on. If it doesn't work, unplug the television and try again--sometimes this process doesn't work on the first try.
Use the remote to navigate the "Service Mode" menu and select "Factory Reset" from the menu. Click "Enter" and the television will begin initializing and shut down. It will then power back on, set to factory defaults.

Yes sir..i do want to reset this tv as it already pass my waranty years ago..my model is aquos LC46A65M...i did try like your video...it does show that 'K' sign and i press ch- & vol - button...it only shows model ,size, etc ,but totally different from any of your tutorial...cant even find factory reset at all
1. Unplug tv power cables
2. Hold down tv input button & Vol- button
3. Now plug in power cable while hold those button
4. Now release the button after screen appears
5. Press both ch- & vl+ button for service menu
6. Now reset to factory settings from service menu.

doesn't want to work it turns off and on perfectly fine but the only thing working is the chunnel up and down and power button and out of nowhere the screen will say WPA turned on and everything starts working. I already restarted the controller I have no idea what to do

yesterday night i was using the tv and it suddenly shows a blacj screen. I switched on and off and it still blinks green and red when its switched off. The following day i try turning it back on. It now only show black screen with blinking red light nd no more green light. I've seen a few of your videos amd read a couple comments about this. So do i have a hardware issue? Or do i still need to recheck and disconnect everything and do the same procedure?
Yes everything is same. However you can apply as below basics
1. Disconnect all external devices and cables from tv
2. Unplug tv power cables from electric source
3. Wait for 10 minutes and hold the power button for 10 seconds

hello, i have a sharp LC-50SA5500X and when I did a factory reset via the screen menu, when the tv turned on, it just keeps on showing the SHARP logo for a few minutes then turns off again then returns back to SHARP logo then the same process again and again, any way to fix this? That's mean currently your tv hasn't any channel. Which channel you want to need. Try manually 🔍 your desired channel.
However you can try to reset the TV as many people said. But remember you need to setting up again.

If it is a Android TV-Box you can install Activity Launcher to directly start Factory Menu.
(got into Burnin-Test via Accident or Bug and been kicked out to Factory Menu after trying Joystick left on Cold Booting)

ATTENTION: you can really mess up the Set with Factory Menu!
Exiting Factory Menu can be a Mess, here (70DN5EA) i had to try around with a attached USB-Keyboard, F5 or F6 did the Job

@LanPenang, please check your time & date settings & country settings.
And unplug the tv power cable from electric ⚡️ source and hold power button for 10 seconds. After 10 minutes later plug 🔌 in power cables.

Hey buddy, I would like to thank you for the instructions to fix a no sound issue, I did the reset and worked ! I am glad to have found your posts to correct this issue. I have always liked my Sharp, when I had gotten a larger screen, unfortunately I didn’t get another Sharp, and that one went into my bedroom. The larger tv I had purchased was an LG. It’s ok, but if sitting off to the side, the picture is not great, so I will eventually replace that with another Sharp Aquos. Not sure what model it is, but it has to be 10 years or longer. So once sound was restored I was so very happy. Thank you again, other than the sound I have had no issues with it and your video made for an easy fix. Steven
