I did it a third time and the TV responded to the remote and I got it in sync with the other items. . Thanks so much. You saved me a service call and the price of a new bigger TV. I had to call Xfinity/Comcast today for a billing issue and while on that call, she said she could lower my bill that had just gone up by $25!! I said yes (to only a $10 reduction) but supposedly to a higher speed internet which is all I have through Comcast. She said there would be an automatic boot and then all would be ok. NOPE!!! My TV turned itself off after a couple of minutes and the damn osb light started flashing alternately with the power light. After a super amount of time wasted googling fixes for this (factory reset) I finally, fortunately came across your video, followed your precise instructions and VOILA!!!! I'm back in business. Someone commented below that you should charge for this - even something nominal because this video has 806,019 views and rave reviews!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Have a blessed 2022!!

You should be charging a nominal fee for the information for those of us who have success. The jubilation in my household was priceless!! Just one quick note, once I got the screen where you select factory initialization, my tv wouldn't stay on so I had less than two seconds to enter the arrow down, arrow right and then enter. Had to be quick! Also, I didn't get the glowing green screen confirming the reset but rather a glowing green "k" followed by the TV set up screen and only then did the screen stop from going black. It's so amazing to think this TV was headed for the trash and quite frankly it's not very old nor was it used very much. My dad bought a new tv for where this one sat so again THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

I have the Sharp Aquus LC-60C62U. The TV just kind of got stuck between channels. It showed what channel it was on but the screen was gray and there was no sound. It wouldn't respond to the manual buttons on the TV, or to the remote.These reset instructions worked perfectly, thank you so much.
Back in 2007, HD was still kind of new and this was my first HD TV purchased, I hate to admit, at 32", it was $1000! Great TV, I still use it, though it's been downgraded to the bedroom now as my smaller TV. SUPER great on-board sound, especially compared to many other TV's on the market. I've had years of enjoyment out of it, and Sharp is a brand that I'd consider buying again. I've owned 3 Sharp TV's, enjoyed them all. Your reset procedure (which I haven't had to do) reminds me very much of the Android reset on phones. Holding certain buttons and powering on at the same time. I always enjoy your videos!
omg, thanks for this, my volume on the remote just stopped working 3 days ago.I have a 60" that's 3-4 years old-led Aquos.. I called Sharp and was waiting 20 minutes out of 3 times I called. Finally after a rep got all my info the call dropped and couldn't connect for an hour again...so im gonna watch you and try to save $67.50 for a new remote.

But this didn't work for me, but I think it's related to the fact that there is an odorless, brown oil colored liquid slowly seeping through bottom center of the frame. There's no possible way anything could have been poured or spilled into it... so I'm assuming its finally kicked the bucket. But I'm still very pleased because it was an awesome tv!

Hi there. I have a 46" Aquos (LC-46E77UN) which the other night made a flash and then the screen went black, with both the power and the PCS green lights blinking alternatively. I tried the procedure you suggested to factory reset the TV, but nothing happened (ie, the TV turned on when I plugged it in, keeping Input and Vol- pressed, just showing a blank screen and the blinking green lights). What if there isn't the buttons on your TV. Only have a power button have 32" model LC32LE653U. Do you have any info on how to factory reset this model. Im able to turn the TV on but I have to look through a jumpy screen to change channels and what not. Issue is jumpy screen

Hi my tv is a sharp it’s kind of new, when trying to tune my sky box into it using the coaxial cable ,there is no menu for analog tuning,on other tvs the sky box could be tuned in this way but on this sharp it only shows digital tuning. Any help would be appreciated

He couldn't find the regular tv remote so he went to the side of the tv and started trying to change it from there. He hit the menu button and it froze the tv in that mode. You and I spoke my email a month ago...did factory reset trick on my deceased moms TV and it has been fine since. Unfortunately, last night the screen went black and it shit off and the green light started flashing again. It coined back up if you turn it off and on but but only for a while.. Any suggestions? +Joanne Baptie There may truly be something wrong with the electronics inside. The reset can't resolve a hardware issue, but can help a minor software problem. You may need to have a repair shop check it out and see if it's worth fixing.
Hi, To press those two buttons at same time is very difficult and to plug TV. AT last I did, however, my screen is all gold red and yellow. The box that appears on the left, I cannot read anything... there is but so light and the box is black.

My TV stopped turning on and I did a plug-in with channel down and volume down and it turned on. But when it did small white rectangular visula artifacts started showing up on the screen over the image. Can you suggest a fix for this?
Mine is a Aquos 70in I bought in December 2008 for Christmas. It's started doing the code flashing almost 8yrs from the date I bought it. I tried the factory reset procedure and was able to reset it, unplugged and waited 30sec and plugged it back in. unfortunately it didn't turn back on just started flashing again. So I went through the procedure again and this time I did as NumuzicTunes did after unplugging for 30sec (hold power button on TV) when I plugged it back in and this time it turn on and I went through the setup successfully and it turns off & on as it should.. However when unplugged it reverts back to error mode. I'll have to reset every time it loses power. So as long as it doesn't lose power it'll function properly with the TV buttons and the Remote.
my aquos tv has a different setup in the buttons. it doesn't have an input button but instead it has a devices button. I tried using that but it doesn't work. I'm thinking it's a different button combination. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have or know a picture setting for a sharp LC-32le451u I've had no luck in finding one for gaming and TV cable

Mine is a Aquos 70in I bought in December 2008 for Christmas. It's started doing the code flashing almost 8yrs from the date I bought it. I tried the factory reset procedure and was able to reset it, unplugged and waited 30sec and plugged it back in. unfortunately it didn't turn back on just started flashing again.
So I went through the procedure again and this time I did as NumuzicTunes did after unplugging for 30sec (hold power button on TV) when I plugged it back in and this time it turn on and I went through the setup successfully and it turns off & on as it should..
However when unplugged it reverts back to error mode. I'll have to reset every time it loses power. So as long as it doesn't lose power it'll function properly with the TV buttons and the Remote.
raul garcia this worked for me also - had to do the extra step of holding the power button before plugging it back in for the last time. Thanks!

my aquos tv has a different setup in the buttons. it doesn't have an input button but instead it has a devices button. I tried using that but it doesn't work. I'm thinking it's a different button combination. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My sharp tv is zoomed in, will resetting it fix this or would that only be fixable with the remote?
I have an aquos LA-60LE644U. The power light glows red, no blinking. Will not come on. Tried the resets, doesn't work. Any other suggestions? It's bowl game time!!!
Hi... after I hold down the input and volume down buttons and plug the TV back in, light goes solid for a few seconds and then starts blinking again. Do you have a fix for that?

My Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U LCD stays black and the power and opc buttons constantly blink, the power twice as often. I could not see any backlights looking thru the vents nor could I see the menu using a flashlight. Any ideas?
