  • This is part 1 of a 4age swap into my 1983 ae71. I will be using the factory efi system and doing all the conversion that is required.
This video I'm just going over the initial parts of getting your 4age.

Love your videos. I'm putting a 4AGE into my TE72 lift back and found the proper engine mounts to put it into the same location as the 3TC so the T50 bolts up correctly and remains in its normal location. My problem is finding a header that fits correctly and gets by the manual steering box and doesn't get hit by the pitman arm when it's fully extended. I see Pace Setters may fit but am looking at a Silk Road 4-2-1 $$$. What header do you use that fits the 4AGE into the TE72 conversion? I'm a newby and all the help I can get is much appreciated. Keep cranking out the helpful videos👍👍

Thanks man. Well this particular car is an ae71, so it came factory with a steering rack. I forget the name off hand but this header came off a rhd ae86 that my buddy imported. Fits perfect.

Efi is Just a different beast and I wanted to see if I could do it myself. Plus it's 10x more reliable.

Carbed its always more agressive, more quickly , like a engine it's Alive. The trick it's who is fine tunning the carbs.
