My mum is from Enniscorthy. I sing this for her every year and she cries. We may leave our homeland but i suspect our homeland never leaves our hearts. Genii loci. Blessed Christmas and peace to all.
I've listened to this all week and I love it. The lead vocals are so sharp clear and precise , it's rare to hear such singing. And the music is spot on. Alison Krause ain't got nothing on you girls. Loved it loved it.
Beautiful! Music is superb and the words very clearly telling the story of Christmas. Always loved the Allison Krause/YoYo Ma version but this is as good or better. Thanks for posting, and Merry Christmas. Everyone stay healthy.
I've loved this carol for years; I think I first heard it by The Voice Squad, which has remained my favourite, probably because I sing mostly unaccompanied. Having listened to various other versions this morning, I think that I have a new favourite! In this key, it's great on the fiddle, with lots of scope for harmonies. Merry Christmas. Martin D'Arcy
I just love this song . Been awhile since I've listened to it and it sounds wonderful. Really enjoy you and your group playing and singing. Was hoping you guys would make another one. I know it would be pleasing to hear. Keep it up . 👍
Sung with feeling and sincerity and what a beautifully clear and unaffected voice. Well done! The only small criticism is that I find the tempo a bit fast. Love the harp. Truly lovely.
Good people all, this Christmas time Consider well and bear in mind What our good God for us has done In sending his beloved son With Mary holy we should pray To God with love this Christmas Day In Bethlehem upon that morn There was a blessed Messiah born Near Bethlehem did shepherds keep Their flocks of lambs and feeding sheep To whom God's angels did appear Which put the shepherds in great fear 'Prepare and go, ' the angels said 'To Bethlehem, be not afraid For there you'll find, this happy morn A princely babe, sweet Jesus born With thankful heart and joyful mind The shepherds went, this babe to find And as God's angel had foretold They did our saviour Christ behold Within a manger he was laid And by his side the virgin maid Attending on the Lord of life Who came on earth to end all strife Good people all, this Christmas time Consider well and bear in mind What our good God for us has done In sending his beloved Son With Mary holy we should pray To God with love this Christmas day In Bethlehem upon that morn There was a blessed Messiah born

Good people all, this Christmas time
Consider well and bear in mind
What our good God for us has done
In sending his beloved son
With Mary holy we should pray
To God with love this Christmas Day
In Bethlehem upon that morn
There was a blessed Messiah born
Near Bethlehem did shepherds keep
Their flocks of lambs and feeding sheep
To whom God's angels did appear
Which put the shepherds in great fear
'Prepare and go, ' the angels said
'To Bethlehem, be not afraid
For there you'll find, this happy morn
A princely babe, sweet Jesus born
With thankful heart and joyful mind
The shepherds went, this babe to find
And as God's angel had foretold
They did our saviour Christ behold
Within a manger he was laid
And by his side the virgin maid
Attending on the Lord of life
Who came on earth to end all strife
Good people all, this Christmas time
Consider well and bear in mind
What our good God for us has done
In sending his beloved Son
With Mary holy we should pray
To God with love this Christmas day
In Bethlehem upon that morn
There was a blessed Messiah born
@Ellen Gibling - Why did the group change name?
not bad but a little sad....it misses that major 3rd on the first chord of the verse
Well balanced, clear
Beautiful ❤
