im soo glad i caught this live w suicide boys. the observatory had them scheduled in the smaller room at the time and since they were the only hip hop act of the night as it was mainly an indie rock line up. they were in no way nearly as big as they are now but the fans came through and the festival organizers did not expect an attendance big enough for the main stage. Big w for the organizers on moving them to the main the stage when they saw the fans long ass line at the entrance. pouya was the only one on the official lineup so the fact that he shared his stage time w suicide boys was a surprise for me since i didnt even know they were there and got to meet him and nick w my brother after during a wack set when the smoke pit was empty. he was soo chill and had a good talk, kept it humble and told my brother he should probably take care of his charges from working at motel six when my talkative brother uknowingly befriended the prositutes living there use his computer and just became a normal thing not knowing they were setting up dates. Cops did a raid and took his brand new fucking computer that he brought to do homework at night when it was dead w police now thinking he was pimping or involved w them lol my dork brothers boss was our curch pastor lol idk how that even came up it was random but we all laughed, i remember that part of the conversation the most. One of my best memories
