and they also broke GTA V, it's much more unstable (unless you're playing singleplayer in offline mode) if you are running it in the normal online mode, regardless if you're playing online or singleplayer, it has random game crashes every 20-30 minutes to a couple hours of playing, and it mainly affects nVidia users, hadn't heard any complaints from AMD users yet.

This is true Rockstar is becoming greedy they didn't even do anything for GTA 4's 10 year anniversary but release new cars for GTA Online to be honest Rockstar is turning into EA games
Starkiller 360 Eh. Gay Tony and GTA SA are better than 4. 4 is GTA Oscar bait. Most of that game's missions just have the player get in a car, and chase someone. . GTA 4's plot is not as good as RDR.
Anime is Trash well I did like Ballad Of Gay Tony better but still GTA 4 did deserve something for its 10 year anniversary like a remaster or something
Towelie Then the test contains olympiad level questions, after you/we miserably and unfairly failed the exam, a little board comes up, saying : "Looks like you've got a problem there, (mc name). I could help you if you give daddy ten of those green coloured papers. If you concerned, yes I do accept PayPal and other cryptocurrencies"
To be honest, rockstar milked GTA online to death. Back in 2013 and 2014, it was regular to have a middle apartment (NOT a luxury apartment, one of those for 100K$, when you can remember), a middle class sportscar. But today, you have to really play contact missions for about 8h a day or cheat your money in order to enjoy the game. This company was so great, when you take it easy; shark card ruined GTA Online, ruined the r* buissnesmodel for us gamers and is going to ruining RDR2.
CHRIS_PLAYER 951 Yes, they were the always correct company with games which had their promises filled double. I can still remember back to 2013, when the game came out! Ohh mannnn nostalgia incoming
CHRIS_PLAYER 951 When you had an adder...ohh shit! You were the most skilled level 100 guy with respect 100 in the whole lobby. Back then, gta only just was kind of a playground for players to have a good time free roaming or completing missions. All the cars or other vehicles were secondary! And around 2015, the game just changed completely to the worst outcame (which we know today). CEO update, the starterpack to grind, mid-2015; lowriders. End of 2015- the ill gotten gains part2. A 10 milion $ yard. And then it became gta grind, cheat or dont enjoy
jonathan pereira EA has bad reputation. They are as rich as ever and will continue to thrive. Means nothing in the grand scheme of things, companies care about money that is all they care about, they couldn't give two shits if you like them or not as long as people buy their shit
You are so right man they are so greedy like what is even GTA 5 anymore ? Either grind it out for hours to afford one thing or spend €20 on a shark card for one thing. Absolute disgrace for a company that I use to feel was for the players.
It really is a shame. It all went downhill after Leslie benzies left tho, he was like the ceo of rockstar or something and was responsible for the creations of gta sa, gta vice city, gta III, gta 4 and 5. But I think the story goes like he was feuding with take 2 or there was some problems so he left or got fired I don’t remember. But when he was running gta online it was great, you could earn money really well and everything wasn’t 100 million fucking dollars. I bet he’s disgusted at what gta online has become.
How long do you think it will take until some company is like. "Oh your character died mid playthrough ? Well you'll have to make a $2 microtransaction to revive them and continue the game." My guess is in another 2 years.
Lets don't forget the GTA Online 30 day ban and deleting character for no reason and when you try to contact to them they are closing the token. (Happy i'm still not banned)
Welp, time to go back to piracy. Ain't gonna shed a cent on such strategies. Funny how none of this will affect pirates. Only legit buyers get screwed over.
David the dank Spectre Ain't gonna happen. I'll play smoothly, I'll have every single piece of DLC that's supposed to be a part of the main game in the first place and I won't have to deal with any bullshit from DRMs or other nonsense. I've noticed it time and time again, pirates games offer much cleaner and fuller experience than buying and relying on makers and providers. Especially with Rockstar titles.
i am a broke ass dude so when i see this stuff i really don't care but...if it annoys Swegy then im annoyed as well plus if it happens to Bully 2 (if it ever comes out which i hope it will) im going to be triggered
I mean it'd be realistic if they had an online mode with safehouses, clothing, vehicles, and iteme that are expensive af. I mean that's literally the real life school experience. Even down to getting bullied for being a poor player.
Its simple. As long as they do this, give them as few money as possible. Buy second hand games and cd keys. Or talk about it like you do in this video, maybe make a video with all the true rockstar video makers (you, gtamen, pyrealm, vucko100 and all the others) to give a message to rockstar to say that we are not indiferent to that and that we will not shut up and give our hard earned money. Sorry for the bad english. Much love.
you think they will listen? Let me give you a picture of what is happening in rockstar games offices now.Everyone is jerking off with 100$ dollar builds earned from bullshit cards from gta online.Sam Houser and Dan are jerking of with 500$ build.Simple they dont give a shit as long as we buy their shitty games.
It's not just take two. It's both of them. It's not like T2 has complete control over Rockstar. They agreed to become partners at their own will. Research before you comment.
@@krisnava2110 Not to mention the cheap reskin of updates. It's a game of chess to Rockstar, play your chips right and DLC's will flood players back in with a minute increase of shark cards, they take their money and leave for a year. They play it wrong, the Arena War, and players decline and sales go down. It's not about the players enjoyment, it's about the payouts.
+WcHDICE Rockstar is allowing it to happen because it benefits them. Old Rockstar would have responded to those tweets saying "It's the publisher not us, sorry to all the fans." But now they're in on the whole scheme so they try to justify it very poorly.
There has never been an instance where Rockstar Games has done anything like that in the past.. You disgust me, go spew your nonsensical babble elsewhere you inadvertent ad for birth control
They will probably milk RDR2 just as they are *still* doing with GTA Online. The good ol' days when *R** respected its consumers are *gone, probably for good*.
And unfortunately, we know *R** isn't very good (or very interested) in listening to its consumers, but you all better complain anyways, otherwise it might get worse.
its because they got rid of leslie benzies. with leslie benzies, gta online was fun to play and not the grindfest to sell sharkcards. they got rid of leslie benzies, went ham with their overpriced vehicles , ultimate grind and sharkcards. thats the end of it. aka, no leslie benzies = failure. gta online proved this, rdr2 online proves this aswell. dont even get me started on the sp of rdr2, which si litterally dlc for rdr1. not a full new game. this shoulda been released during ps3 era. they worked 8 years on this game and online is so fucking bad, empty and boring. ''its a beta'' , that they ve worked for over 8 years. lel
Remember when Rockstar literally did the same thing for Red Dead Redemption when the Solomon’s Folly hideout was only a pre order exclusive and nobody complained? The same thing has happened here.
Rockstargames has always been a bunch of greedy bastards ever since they fired Leslie in 2014. They recognized how much they can milk out their millions of fans for money. The rockstargames of old is no more. It hurts me that I have to live with the simple fact that there will never be another rdr or gta 4 from them again.
wow i cant believe someone actually knows why rockstar gta 5 and rdr2 suck. because they dont have leslie benzies to save them. rockstar fired him to save 150 million of mr benzies' royalties, but they made well over a billion with sales of gta 5, and they made another billion with sharkcards. but they refuse to pay the guy who litterally saved all of their games his 150 million in royalties. and people wonder why im boycotting rockstar. lel never a rockstar game for me again, never. anyone who still buys a rockstar game, is litterally supporting their greedy behavior, along with the trash they call gta 5 and rdr2. if you buy their games, you re part of the problem. that simple. glad i boycotted.
Another thing worth noting is the fact that there's been no gta game this console generation and probably won't be another as the next generation of consoles are a year and a half to two years away. Rockstar have made so much cash from gta online that they've not even felt the need of making dlc for gta 5.
To quote GTA Series Videos: "I think there's a lot of confusion about this issue. It's a collector's box for collectors, and not a different version of the game. It doesn't offer any extra in-game bonuses and it's not called "Collector's Edition". Just something more that you can buy if you collect stuff."
I feel like there's no way Rockstar would make more money by selling a Collector's edition without a game. People would buy way more Collector's copies if it came with it no?
Let's just hope they play their cards right and decide to release the contents later as DLC. I'm down with it unless it's over 10$. Otherwise, I'd have to just skip on it. Hey, they had that stuff too in the first RDR. Specifically in Multiplayer where all the extra characters and weapons were paid DLC and you had to buy them since they provided more weapons + more features. It is really scummy, and it feels like R* is taking the EA route only it's more stable and accurate. In my case, I'd have to wait awhile to get the extra stuff since I live in the country that has a bar that R* games can't reach meaning that I'd have to wait a week or so.
you re braindead, and you re part of the problem if you keep buying rockstar, knowingly they will simply ruin online even more with the intention of selling shark cards. so yea, either boycot, or just accept that you will get scammed out of your money.
As soon as I saw the success of GTA online (which I hate) I knew this was coming in future Rockstar games unfortunately as these ppl need money they can NEVER have enough
I saw this coming four years ago. I made a video two years ago and only thing I recieved was a lot of dislikes. People loves Rockstar, and I loved them too, but I think it's important to criticize what they are doing wrong. I'd hate see them turn to another EA or Ubisoft. Good video
> is getting greedy > I miss the old Rockstar The Rockstar Games who locked 5 L.A. Noire cases behind different editions and DLCs? You guys certainly have a poor memory. As for separate Collector's BOX (not an edition by the way), that's a great thing for... collectors. No need to pay for the game if you're only interested in the merch.
can agree and besides; aren't most collector's boxes usually filled with useless crap? maybe besides Sonic Mania and a few others, what other Collectors box has been worth it?
This makes me question the legality of this product. If just all countries were to have the same laws we have in Norway, things might have been very different. Because not including a copy of the game, can be considered a violation of the agreement you enter the moment you order the collector's edition.
They're making games a SERVICE rather than something you just own. The end goal is a monthly subscription and you never owning a piece of physical media ever. You don't pay the monthly fee? No more game. The days of owning a game are going to the wayside. This isn't capitalism, this is CORPORATISM.
As far as gta5 rockstar has got to be on the pipe like pooky, everything is beyond over priced you want a 3 million dollar vehicle prepare to do missions for 2 months once you get it, oh then pay an extra 3 million to modify it because there is always some extra crap, these people are money hungry. I stopped buying shark cards, because they don't even give you a decent amount of money for them, this is not how a GAME is supposed to be and all the over priced stuff makes it unenjoyable. This game was originally around 50 dollars, but we all spent 100s on this game smh.
Isn't it usually the publisher who comes up with these ideas, which would be Take-Two Interactive? I mean, everyone blames EA and EA only for fucking up Battlefront 2, which was developed by EA DICE, Criterion Software, Motive Studios, so why do I never see ANYBODY calling out Take-Two Interactive, the publisher behind Rockstar Games' product?
Xiang TheLX Because it's Rockstar trying to save it's ass over this, Take Two hasn't said a word yet. Both are to blame but if Rockstar wants to die on this hill, it sure can.
You see, here's the thing about this whole situation. Rockstar Games are one of the last developers today who focus on quality over quantity, proven in the fact that it took 8 years to make Red Dead Redemption 2. So, maybe it's justified that they do this, because in the end, they always deliver, and always make it worth it. I mean, think about it guys. it's not like they're releasing some sort of broken and unfinished product. This game is done, and they've spent countless time, effort, and money to make this the best game that they've made, even more so than GTA V. So, I don't know about you, but I'm going easy on Rockstar for this one.
HunterEatsHunter They started developing it before GTA 5 Online made them greedy at around 2014-2015 Why do you think they pushed RDR2 back by NEARLY AN ENTIRE YEAR just DAYS before its original release? I'll tell you why; the game was going to be a prequel to RDR, and now it's suddenly a sequal in 1899. They did that so they could charge us money for microtransactions for shit like vehicles so it'll basically be a GTA 5 online reskin. How are you supposed to have a COWBOY GAME without any Cowboys? They even have a young John Marston (the main character from the first RDR) as the main box art for the game... Even though it's a sequel... I can't wait to see Johns son return to be an anorexic slave and to get killed in the first cutscene he appears in... (They pulled shit like that in GTA 5)
traci beachel Rockstar takes a long time to make their games, so it's not like they're rushing them. It goes to show how much hard work and love they put in to their titles. We know that every game they make is going to be incredibly unique, and awesome. They aren't a AAA developer, they're a AAAA developer, and I think they just want to make the highest return on their 8 years of hard work and dedication. Also, what do you mean Grand Theft Auto V doesn't have that much content? You know they frequently release free updates for the game, right?
HunterEatsHunter I concur, nbd to me.. It's literally one side mission, developed got a special edition of the game that in no way inhibits your experience or immersion - nothing to be justifiably mad at imo, but at the same time, I get it, when there are games out there such as DESTINY 1 AND 2 that have whole entire story mode expansions developed along with the rest of the game but released as paid DLC? That shit is disgusting, and deserves to be shit on, but for some reason.. It isn't, and these cuckolds in the comment section here are attacking Rockstar for trying to put a little more content in their special edition to entice players and make it worth it? Fucking weird-o's
Sorry to ruin your fantasies, but Nintendo is greedy too. Next thing you are gonna tell me is selling fucking cardboard for 80 dollars ain't greediness
I am reminded why I watch so little of your content... we live in a capitalistic society, which means paying for stuff you want. Don’t get me wrong, I wish things could be like they were when Bully was released! The good old days, where you paid a flat 60$ for a mostly decent game that has a distended, pointlessly long plot to serve as padding so that people feel they’re getting their money’s worth. But I have to ask: when was Rockstar ever not about making money? They didn’t pay for any of the GTAs, Bully, or Read Dead Redemption out of the goodness of their hearts, they did it because it would be profitable. And it was at the time; but times change, and the model RDR and Bully and GTA used doesn’t work the same way in a world where mobile games and Steam exist. That doesn’t make them shitty people, it means they’ll get to keep working
I don't like this 'squeeze every drop of money out of your customers' attitude that Rockstar have had lately, with GTA, all that it feels like now is like they're trying to make you go broke in the game, with the prices of vehicles, guns, buildings and apartments ect, so that you'll spend some of your real world money to bring your in-game bank balance back up because not very many people want to grind the hell out of the high paid missions at a constant rate. I used to grind the bank robbery heist most days for months with friends and eventually we got sick of it and stopped, within a month or two we were all almost broke in-game. Don't get me wrong, this is a smart tactic from Rockstar, but it's almost the most annoying part of the game these days, I think when they decided to bring in flying bikes and cars that fire rockets that you can't dodge in any vehicle may be the most annoying and off-putting part of the game now. But back to the topic at hand, I already know that RDR2 is going to be a grind and a half when with the special addition of the game they give you something like a $1M to start you off with, this is the old west, if you had a million in the bank you'd be a king for life, so you just know that everything in the game is going to cost, just like GTA 5, and that $1 million will be gone quicker than a fart in the wind. With that being said (or whined) I will resist where ever I can in RDR2 to pay in order to get money, I refuse to pay for a game then a year or two later I'm still paying out money, I'll grind if I have to, and I get the feeling that I'll be grinding a lot, but I've spent enough of my money on GTA5 throughout the years, I'm not willing to do the same in RDR2, I'll buy the game, because we all know it's going to be awesome, but that's it, that's all the money they'll get out of me now. I'm basically going to wipe out all animal life in RDR2 for to sell their pelts and meat, hope you're happy Rockstar, so many species extinct, all those animals blood on your hands lol
$60 for base game $80 special edition for extra side missions online xp boost two outfits and free in game low level weapons and a horse that can be purchased in base game $100 for dollar store toys with RDR and R* logos
Totally agree with you, SWEGTA. The sad truth is that the video game industry today has lost its passion to create. It's as if the gaming industry doesn't actually have true gamers developing the games anymore, so they're never thinking about the players interests and desires when they build new games now. Micro transactions truly are killing the video game industry, but people don't see it and it's so infuriating because the more people buy into this cheap marketing trick, the more and more the companies like Rockstar are going to keep doing it - ignorance is what I think is killing the gaming industry. We've become ignorant to being scammed and robbed, because everything nowa'days is paid for with the tap of a touch screen. It's all digital. The physical aspect of video games is gone. The cover art usually sucks and is always the cliché "soldier holding a gun" pose, you don't get game manuals anymore with cool art or maps, you get a piece of paper that advertises some other shit instead because all they want is our money, and these companies don't understand. We WILL give you our money happily, IF you provide us with quality video games that we can connect with instead of trying to steal our money. We're not stupid, we just want good games!
I think Take Two is mainly responsible. Take Two always decides stupid things for their child Rockstar. Take Two sues anything that even mocks Rockstar's games or themselves. Basically, Take Two has been shown making stupid decisions, and they most likely want your money.
Collector edition should have physical copy with every DLC included. But i think they are testing the water there. people who want to pre-order will pre-order i'll just wait for the 66% steam sales to get it. if rockstar not selling on the steam, so be it, i'll wait until 75% discount on PS4, it's that simple. we miss nothing for buying 2 years late, in fact, we might gain a bit more insight after 1 year or 2 before digging in.
You do know your local gamestop or GAME or whatever you call it did have a bundle option, (i say did because the collectors box will be out of stock now) but I preordered the collectors box with ultimate edition of red dead redemption 2. £180 well spent.
I understand that inflation means that selling a game for $60 means making less money every year. Game developers can do one of two things to remain sustainable. One, they can raise the standard price to $70 or maybe even $80, giving the developers enough money to give us a full experience, and making every copy have the same content. Two, they do what they're doing now and sell us a partial game at $60, with the rest of it being paid downloadable content. Either way, neither party really wins, but I think more people would respect a company who comes out and says they really don't want to release a partial game, so to do that they're raising the upfront cost.
1:45 Not really. People started being afraid of such things in 2016 or 2017, when people started analyzing GTA Online. Even I did. Boy am I NOT surprised
that makes sense tho. I only buy digital copies so if I wanted the collector's box I wouldn't also want a physical copy of the game. I want the digital copy.
They could preorder the collectors box and when the game releases they could be given a free physical copy of the game or a free digital downloadable code via receipt of collectors box or email I literally thought the same as the guy that called them out.
What is really missing is the ability for some people have to discern what they see from what they want. On a more direct level, you are conflating 2 seperate issues. I'll start by admitting that I have not been converted to the guild of Rockstar fandom so I don't have a dog in this fracas but I can understand a frustration when it comes to a product that seems to be less inclusive with activity content. DLC was a genie that was willingly embraced by the gaming community when it felt like a promising way of continuing gameplay in a story you had bested (or doing so in style) without having to pay full price for the next itteration.. The problem with accepting it's gifts is that each wish granted has empowered its giver and each new gift comes at a greater cost. Being drunk last night felt like fun but eventually you awaken to the harsh light of the morning after. As a Very, Very old gamer my oar in the same water but I understand that the difference between whining and winning is observing business strategies and adapting accordingly. On one hand you sing the praise of the company's last self- milking cash cow while condemning them for trying to get away with a much smaller offence. This is an example of selective entitlement thinking. If you think about it, you don't "have to" do anything against your wishes in the gaming world (which includes buying a game from a company you feel is taking advantage of you.) But the fact is that no matter how much you complain on social media venues, you'll buy it regardless (and the devs Know it) which brings me to your clamor of cognative dissonance. There are 2 seperate listings on the Rockstar website. The first is for "Red Dead Redemption 2: Special edition which describes the game, a treasure trove of DLC and listings of pre-order incentives. I have also seen the bare bones listing for the currently acceptable normative price of $59.00. They are very much up front in their marketing and nothing about the game options are left to the imagination. Here is where you need to be able to read things for what they are rather than what you have trained yourself to listen for. The physical box of bling is pretty much called just that. It doesn't read "Collector's Edition." It is clearly called "Collector's BOX" which purposes itself as fan service for people who want all of the trinkets and doo-dads for people who want some novelties to load in the dust bin when the next big name franchise vlog bait rolls out. First there's the giddy "unboxing video" followed by the rabid fanboy review with the collectable keepsakes tastefully displayed in rack focus directly behind you to show everyone that You are one of the few "True Scottsmen" (lending all the more credence to your commitment.) The eventual wind down will be your "mission completed" entry followed by your "nit picks and gamer's gripes." Finally, what do you know...? More DLC excitement hearlding the very thing you were miffed about at pre-release. Three things are certain... While your lederboards will not reflect your epic hype, Rockstar will see that regardless of your moaning you swallowed hook, line and sinker, You will have heavily promoted their product and the cycle will begin again. You don't "have to" invest in anything if you don't want it, but you know you Will... and so do they! The Crying Games always begin and end with a whimper.
I just add some basic Color Correction and minor adjustments to the brightness and contrast. ENB is alright, but I feel like it's better to add effects in editing rather than having them always enabled in-game.
This is why I really liked the Just Cause 3 collectors edition. You got a bunch of cool stuff and the best edition of the game that came with the season pass.
I blame GTA Online for Rockstars decline. Rockstar were awesome until they started releasing overpriced cars in GTAO DLCs.

Charlie 03 Ikr they've changed a lot after GTA V and the Online.

If Rockstar Games keeps this up It might ruin the company.
jonathan pereira hah it'll never ruin the company. People will continue to buy their games and they'll be even more rich than they already are
J0sh 2k2 I meant ruin the company’s reputation.
YNiekAC ok
jonathan pereira EA has bad reputation. They are as rich as ever and will continue to thrive. Means nothing in the grand scheme of things, companies care about money that is all they care about, they couldn't give two shits if you like them or not as long as people buy their shit

I bet he’s disgusted at what gta online has become.
or download a pretty good Mod Menu and FUCK Rockstar Games
The one dislike is rockstar games
Khalidius there's two dislikes
3 now
potato's now
The other 3 are from other rockstar studios
yeh
How long do you think it will take until some company is like. "Oh your character died mid playthrough ? Well you'll have to make a $2 microtransaction to revive them and continue the game." My guess is in another 2 years.
So kind of like mobile games where you die and then you need gems to continue but if you don't have gems you have to buy them.
Welcome to Nopeville isn’t there a zombie game where once you die you have to pay to make a new character
psycho zombie productions haven't seen it yet, but it honestly wouldnt surprise me if it does exist.
psycho zombie productions someone is talking about Metal Gear Survive where u pay for save files XD
Ever played Let It Die?
Remember when RS was not modern Ubisoft? We'll never get great games like San Andreas again.
RDR is the last great RS game.
Anime is Trash What about Max Payne 3? That game was awesome.
LA noire
ShinobiNinjA - Eh.
ShinobiNinjA - If you played the original Max Payne, you can see how MP3 is trash in comparison.
I disagree. RS never made a bad game.
Take Two is getting greedy* how could you miss the obvious...
The Infamous I agree it's totally take two, no way Rockstar is doing this...
Tbh Rockstar have enough pull that they could stop this bullshit happening
Just imagine the amount of money 2K will lose if rockstar left, there was a reason Sam Houser left the company he helped create
Eileen Dover 2K? Or take two? Two different companies
The Infamous whoops meant take two
Lets don't forget the GTA Online 30 day ban and deleting character for no reason and when you try to contact to them they are closing the token.
(Happy i'm still not banned)
GabrielPlayZ ツ I wish I was banned gta 5 sucks and it’s fucking boring
I've had $2 billion for about a year now and nothing has happened to me :^)
is there any way to disable patches so i can play single player with mods without a new patch breaking them?
RDR2 gonna have some sort of shark cards too.
NaZtRdAmUs Horse Cards*
It's going to happen... a while back take2 revealed that they are planing to implement microtransactions to rockstars future games
@@dutchvanderlinde534 Lmao😂😂

Welp, time to go back to piracy. Ain't gonna shed a cent on such strategies.
Funny how none of this will affect pirates. Only legit buyers get screwed over.
David the dank Spectre Ain't gonna happen. I'll play smoothly, I'll have every single piece of DLC that's supposed to be a part of the main game in the first place and I won't have to deal with any bullshit from DRMs or other nonsense.
I've noticed it time and time again, pirates games offer much cleaner and fuller experience than buying and relying on makers and providers. Especially with Rockstar titles.
They are slowly becoming EA
Beat me to it.
lol
Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now
F.B.I O they are worse then ea you people are just mainstream idiots that can’t form their own opinion and only repeat what TH-camrs say
After today you could never be more correct

Take Two; bilions more
i am a broke ass dude so when i see this stuff i really don't care but...if it annoys Swegy then im annoyed as well plus if it happens to Bully 2 (if it ever comes out which i hope it will) im going to be triggered
The Dank Elf 100% agree
But i’d rather they did it if it meant all the people that worked on the game got a living wage
I mean it'd be realistic if they had an online mode with safehouses, clothing, vehicles, and iteme that are expensive af. I mean that's literally the real life school experience. Even down to getting bullied for being a poor player.
The Dank Elf i would love to play Bully 2,it would probably be awesome
Grym i don't care
Well.. Maybe the RockstarGames golden era is over.
After all, every good things must come to an end.
Party is over.
Sadness :(
Just dont buy it then!
rockstar's golden era was over 4 years ago.
I agree, i just had not realised it yet. GTA IV was the last pure diamond.
Take-Two*
It's not just take two. It's both of them. It's not like T2 has complete control over Rockstar. They agreed to become partners at their own will.
Research before you comment.
Kris Nava faxx
@@krisnava2110 Not to mention the cheap reskin of updates. It's a game of chess to Rockstar, play your chips right and DLC's will flood players back in with a minute increase of shark cards, they take their money and leave for a year. They play it wrong, the Arena War, and players decline and sales go down. It's not about the players enjoyment, it's about the payouts.

Rockstar Games works for Take 2 Interactive, the choices they make are to please their parent company.

As if they've ever done this before? lol
You disgust me, go spew your nonsensical babble elsewhere you inadvertent ad for birth control
traci beachel no not at all 2k is rockstars boss a worker doesn't get to decide what happens if 2k wants to shut down rockstar they can easily
R.I.P Rockstar 1997-2014.Now its Cockstar))
only back in 1997 they were still DMA, not Rockstar.
KRAFTWERK2K6 and then it got renamed so what?
''its a beta'' , that they ve worked for over 8 years. lel
All I have to say is RIP Rockstar Games
To quote GTA Series Videos:
"I think there's a lot of confusion about this issue. It's a collector's box for collectors, and not a different version of the game. It doesn't offer any extra in-game bonuses and it's not called "Collector's Edition". Just something more that you can buy if you collect stuff."
Greed had been there downfall of civilizations, game companies aren't excluded
You can no longer decline the phone calls from Ron
Ron who???
I can't wait for Red Dead Royale mode.
Hartkorcraft Rockstar confirmed that there wont be a BR mode
Sebastian Cotor Just like there won't be a game in special edition lol
I hope this same type of situation doesn’t happen with Bully 2
As soon as I saw the success of GTA online (which I hate) I knew this was coming in future Rockstar games unfortunately as these ppl need money they can NEVER have enough
I REALLY hope that Rockstar games doesn't do this with bully 2 if it ever comes out.
If Rockstar release Bully 2 there is going to be online. Mark my words.
Yh like cliques vs cliques
love how at 5:40 your voice kinda syncs with Jimmy. Not sure if that was intended
Let's hope that Bully 2 and GTA 6 won't end up like Dead Rising. Like bringing Jimmy back, replace his voice actor, and make the ending a dlc.
I saw this coming four years ago. I made a video two years ago and only thing I recieved was a lot of dislikes. People loves Rockstar, and I loved them too, but I think it's important to criticize what they are doing wrong. I'd hate see them turn to another EA or Ubisoft.
Good video
Getting? They've been greedy for 2-3 years now.
Damn I wish I was old enough to know what a collectors edition was back when Bully came out.

The Rockstar Games who locked 5 L.A.
Its not that bad. The edition without the game is just a bunch of silly stuff no one would really use anyway.
They don't even call it an edition, they literally called it a "collector's box" for a reason. Nobody is forcing you at gun point to buy it.
First Bethesda falls and now Rockstar? Oh GOD NO.
Rock$tar Game$ i$ getting Greedy*
They're making games a SERVICE rather than something you just own. The end goal is a monthly subscription and you never owning a piece of physical media ever. You don't pay the monthly fee? No more game. The days of owning a game are going to the wayside. This isn't capitalism, this is CORPORATISM.
This aged great
As far as gta5 rockstar has got to be on the pipe like pooky, everything is beyond over priced you want a 3 million dollar vehicle prepare to do missions for 2 months once you get it, oh then pay an extra 3 million to modify it because there is always some extra crap, these people are money hungry.
Xiang TheLX
Because it's Rockstar trying to save it's ass over this, Take Two hasn't said a word yet. Both are to blame but if Rockstar wants to die on this hill, it sure can.
If 2K and EA had a baby, it would be Rockstar Games
Poor LegacykillaHD
Red dead redemption 2: For a lot dollars more
I'll just wait for sales on PSN
You see, here's the thing about this whole situation. Rockstar Games are one of the last developers today who focus on quality over quantity, proven in the fact that it took 8 years to make Red Dead Redemption 2. So, maybe it's justified that they do this, because in the end, they always deliver, and always make it worth it. I mean, think about it guys. it's not like they're releasing some sort of broken and unfinished product. This game is done, and they've spent countless time, effort, and money to make this the best game that they've made, even more so than GTA V. So, I don't know about you, but I'm going easy on Rockstar for this one.
HunterEatsHunter They started developing it before GTA 5 Online made them greedy at around 2014-2015
Why do you think they pushed RDR2 back by NEARLY AN ENTIRE YEAR just DAYS before its original release?
Shadowy-Squid 682 Rockstar confirmed that the developement began in 2010
traci beachel Rockstar takes a long time to make their games, so it's not like they're rushing them.
Shadowy-Squid 682 it is a prequel.... how did you just say young John Marston and sequel in the same sentence? HUH
It's been 4 years, and this is more relevant than ever

Leslie Benzies must be laughing at Rockstar now 😂
Take 2 is getting greedy not rockstar
Waiting for the "We hear your concerns" and "We're listening to our community" line. A classic case of when enough just isn't enough.
Aren't all game developers, (other than Nintendo) greedy?
You're joking, right? The DK and Hyrule Warriors games were released for the Switch FULL PRICE!

Electronic ARTS? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ROCKSTAR GAMES?!!
Kaledrone /\
LOL I thought you were going to comment something different 😂 ...
That doesn’t make them shitty people, it means they’ll get to keep working
rockstar more like moneystar am i right? xdddd (i want to kms)

Wait so you get the side missions but not the game how does that make sense?
In other news... Water is wet.

Nice touch using Shane o Mac's theme at the end. HERE COMES THE MONEY DOLLA DOLLA
$60 for base game
$80 special edition for extra side missions online xp boost two outfits and free in game low level weapons and a horse that can be purchased in base game
$100 for dollar store toys with RDR and R* logos
Ben Brown once I make my game I’m not going to do that bullshit, there will be dlcs but they will not be as expensive as the game
Hey SWEGTA
Do you have any solution for the crashing of Bully Scholarship Edition on Windows 10 as a Bully Veteran?
I think Take Two is mainly responsible. Take Two always decides stupid things for their child Rockstar. Take Two sues anything that even mocks Rockstar's games or themselves. Basically, Take Two has been shown making stupid decisions, and they most likely want your money.
Collector edition should have physical copy with every DLC included.
But i think they are testing the water there. people who want to pre-order will pre-order
i'll just wait for the 66% steam sales to get it.
if rockstar not selling on the steam, so be it, i'll wait until 75% discount on PS4, it's that simple.
we miss nothing for buying 2 years late, in fact, we might gain a bit more insight after 1 year or 2 before digging in.
Even I did. Boy am I NOT surprised
it's not rockstar's fault its Take Two
that makes sense tho. I only buy digital copies so if I wanted the collector's box I wouldn't also want a physical copy of the game. I want the digital copy.
Imagine the bike races or the carnival in Bully being dlc
The nine dislikes are all from Rockstar and it's employees
And look what happened...
They could preorder the collectors box and when the game releases they could be given a free physical copy of the game or a free digital downloadable code via receipt of collectors box or email I literally thought the same as the guy that called them out.
The mission in Bully that should be behind the paywall is definetly Nutcracking
there goes rockstar.. you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain
my job barely pays me enough to keep the lights on now my entertain charging an arm and a leg well fudge man i miss the good ole days
I remember just going to the store and getting a PS2 game and the whole game was there in full form RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.. Good times
Do you add effects to your video, is it an ENB or does your game for some reason look warm like that?
I just add some basic Color Correction and minor adjustments to the brightness and contrast.
ENB is alright, but I feel like it's better to add effects in editing rather than having them always enabled in-game.
Cool. Thanks!
Imagine having gta San Andreas hot coffee locked behind a paywall in "special" edition with nothing else.
This is why I really liked the Just Cause 3 collectors edition. You got a bunch of cool stuff and the best edition of the game that came with the season pass.
That would suck for someone to get the collectors box and not know it doesn’t include the game.
