Not surprised shes covered Nirvana before and nailed it. Her lower register for a female vocalist mixed with that sort of raspy grain makes her vocals great for hard rock. Would love to see her venture more into that genre.

This outstanding performance came as no surprise. She did try other things apart from corporate pop, and it was good (miley and her dead petz) but everyone was so busy judging her looks and addiction issues they had no time to listen to the album.
Generally, when famous people pass away, I am respectful, but since I didn’t personally know them their passing doesn’t truly make me sad. But I had quoted from Chris’ songs at my father’s funeral, so his death hit me really fucking hard. Prince’s passing gutted me, too. This performance honored Chris appropriately, I think. May he rest in peace.
