Great POV! Watched the same run on Roger's channel. So funny to hear the same bits being said from your perspective. "A horse is a horse. Of course, of course. etc.". And the replay of the large cheerleader squad on the long hill. Hilarious! Their enthusiasm for Roger..... Now I've got to watch Dawn's take on it all and hear her screams.

I have 3 mwheels and all my wheels were knobby before my lynx which I have with a street tire & I am so surprised at how well it does on trails.. the knobbies really help in lose sand or light mud but for hard pack trails, riding a street tire does way better than I ever thought and now I am not going to switch to a knobby for a long time. o
I ride 70%-30% offroad or maybe 80/20 ... Put it this way I ride the street to get to the trails ;) !!!!

Up until ~2020 ALL EUC's came with street tires and we rode them everywhere.
Kind of sad to see Dawn and Roger ripping at almost 60 miles an hour on a narrow bicycle trail, at night, when clearly there are indications that people are hanging around immediately adjacent to the trail. Even in the daytime, when going underneath those underpasses where the homeless people are, I slow down to less than 20 miles an hour for fear of somebody wandering out into the trail and accidentally hitting them. I'm just super disappointed. Somebody's gonna get hurt with that level of recklessness and lack of respect for the safety of others.

I see why Roger complains, Dawn's pads look crippling. She'd have a lot more joy lowering them so they hugged the top of her shoe (and not right in the way of her lean as well)

Roger proved my point: those big clunkers are no match for the Lynx.
U guys have so many dirt trails in SoCal (95% paved asphalt here in Maryland). And Rog and Dawn are tackling it on street tires?😮
Id bring a dirt wheel specifically for this loop...
You are probably missing the point that this "event" was to test these two wheels, and these two wheels come with street tires 🙂 Of course when they ride their own wheels on trails, they use knobbies.
The GT Pro seems like a SUV wheel, made for just cruising the streets.
The long battery boxes makes it hard for anything else
can you tell us what was the battery percentage on the ET MAX at the end? really impressive if the tests at the end of the video was done with a 30% or less battery.
It was only a 11-mile ride. Batteries were probably >80%
@@ElectricUnicycles oh... How come the battery beeped at the end then?
@@OriginalSpring I don't know what beep you are referring to. But even at a 100% it's possible to over power any wheel, causing beeps
Would be nice to know if the wheels were in Race mode or Offroad mode on the dam test?
Both were switched to off-road mode

I see Dawn basically likes to go fast in a straight line with very few sharp curves/turns and mostly on the street.
If it is anything else like race tracks, off road, steep inclines she scared or hesitant of it

Its all good. I refer to all risky hobby stuff as toys. Like i said im buying ome of these bad boy toys. Just havent figured out which. Probably.the et max or commander gt pro or the s22. I want to buy the one wheel that i will start on and i will not outgrow. I like to go big off road
Don't buy an S22. There are too many potential issues with that wheel
@@ElectricUnicycles someone else said do not buy the s22 because they are not tough and they break and im a new rider who will be crashing and banging up the wheel. What about that innovation v13? I want one that can go fast but can handle off road
Also bud. I have health issues with my liver. Doctor told me i need to strengthen my core and thats what brought me to look at euc wheels. Looks lije a good core workout.
@@dbirds21 V13 is big and heavy with a marginal suspension. That would not be my first choice. Since the V13 is in your price range then I would strongly consider the Lynx or for a wheel that can pretty much do it all, the Sherman L (but it is heavier and a bit less agile than the Sherman Lynx). Wheels that I would consider: ET Max, Lynx, L, EX30, Master, V14, and Extreme.
@ElectricUnicycles really appreciate the advice because its difficult deciding. Last night i noticed the master and its on sale for 2299. It looks like its fast and sturdy for off road. I did hear it had some known issues with cutting out. I know it can happen with any of them but im 55 years old and dont like eating cement for mechanical issues. In your opinion which euc you mentioned has best redundancy built in to power system.
This e moto toys are so much more dangerous to the public than gas powered bikes. I do both..........on these e toys theres no noise and someone will get ran over and killed. Why both arent allowed to ride in same spots is beyond me....

@@ElectricUnicycles what the hell are you talking about. Im buying one to try new hobby. THey are toys just like my dirt bikes but thy can hurt people. These are dangerous as hell.....and that makes them interesting. Dont be one of those weirdo left or right side of politics....type person

But just to let you know, referring to things that people are passionate about as "toys" is often used as a pejorative and that's how I took it, in the context of how you were writing.
