    I have the Fathom 2 2020 with SRAM SX brakes but no seat dropper which also represents the extra price tag on the 2021.
    It’s a great bike, hope you enjoy yours.

    Nice review. I’m curious as to what sort of trails this bike can handle. Do you think it would be capable of thanking the punishment of rocky double black diamond trails and small drops without issue?

    • @DCPROJEKT
      @DCPROJEKT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe this bike can handle techy trails and drops. It comes down to rider skill. However I would definitely rather ride those with a full suspension bike.

    The fork is actually pretty good. The saddle is okay. Overall its pretty fast and typical giant ride. Maybe a bit short angle for people between 5'8-5'10.

      There are many different brake pads out there, but certain Shimano pads fit them. I work at a bike shop and we stock those specific pads usually. It’s just the shape of the pad. I believe Tektro is made by Shimano as well, although I could be wrong.

      @@DCPROJEKT Really great review thanks! I too have the same dimensions of 5’8” and a 30” inseam. There is a size Medium that is available at my local shop. Do you feel that you could ride 1 size up from the bike you bought as a Small frame? I usually ride Medium but in a Specialized bike, never owned a Giant. On Giants site I am a Medium on the lower end and a Small at the very upper end. Thanks for the input!
