    I would like to see a five string version with high C string.

      Be careful what you ask for. I can see them making a 5 string. Maybe a ‘Fretless’ version. Need to boost some more volume on those piezos tho. Not bad if you don’t have the $$$ for a Kala.😕🎶👍🏾

    Check out Aquila Thunderbrown strings on it! It will change it quite a bit, sound and playability.

    If you can, try the kala-galli flatwounds on it, curious to see if it improves

      Tried hard to find it, could not find any clue.
      Searched by lyrics, Shazam and patreon.
      Guess you have to join his program to get access to the track.

    Looks like my mahalo (probably same factory)
    Yes and a cost effective 5string version for a non Kala price range

    Sounds better with the processing but it's also about the song. The original bass sound might be better on a different song.

    Does the uke bass play the same as a normal bass but smaller?

    • @jensbomholt4529
      @jensbomholt4529 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. But the rubber strings give a different feel. (I play an Ibanez Mikro and a Casha uBass)

  • @etpslick100
    @etpslick100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like it! But definitely need to improve on the electronics. Not enough “booty” as I called it. More volume on those piezos. Nice if your playing alone or recording (you can adjust) but not for band. Not yet anyway. 😕🎶👍🏾

    It's not good. Where's the low end, the overall clarity, articulation? I hear a lot of fret noise around the 5th fret... I would pay $20 for it.
