There not much editing on the bass, in the first sample non at all. Recorded through a passive DI box, so nothing special
that is actually impressing
Nice changes. I prefer the black hardware and black strings as opposed to the one I have. Super useful instrument for rehearsals and even live.

whats the name of the intro/outro song? I cant imagine something more relaxing than playing bass to such a kind of music. I want to learn how to play that kind of stuff, so is there a name for it?
Real great tone and looks on this Uke Bass. I like how Rene gets kind of a James Jamerson tone from it. It looks like a really good alternative to the uBass from Kala with its slightly longer scale and low price point. Does anybody know if there is also a fretless version?

The one with the Spruce top is €149 and the one with Mahogany top is €129 and I think it looks nicer. Do you think there will be a noticable difference in sound? I wonder why there's a difference in prixe.

Do we need to plug it in a bass amp only or a regular guitar amp would also do the job?
Comparison with Kala basses ? Which do you think as professional bass player is more quality and more value to spend the money on ?
The instrument doesn‘t have an aperture in the back.
As a consequence putting strings w/ a ball end on is not possible as they cannot changed through the soundhole, correct?
Or is there maybe any other way or some trick to do that?

No pedals. Just a bunch of plugins. And we recorded the pickup and used an additional mic

Hello Gregor, you say the volume is pretty low without an amp. Is that the case for all bass ukelele's? Or is it just this particular model/size?
Ukulele and bass are 2 things that usually don’t go together... so yes, they’re all very quiet
I have this Bass too, and yes, without amp specially the lower strings are very quiet.
I just put a set of Pyramid's Silver plated strings ... Way better. Sure, the tension is way higher and it may break the neck or bridge ... It's not a 500€ bass, so i take the risk for a more e-bass like sound

Hello!!! I bought a HB u-bass, but when I play like in G or A, I hear some kind of fret buzz, especially over the amp.

These are made by ADAM for their smaller speakers, but they work also well with my A7 speakers

I put pyramid silver wound strings on mine.It was a little bit hard to do it,cause you have to put the strings through the hole.But it sounds now great ..

@@OttosTheName I had no problem with the neck. Once I had to tighten it a bit. But that 's normal, I hadn't played for a while on it.

I know I'm 10 months late but I assume it's the strings that the bass comes with, which would be the Aquila 140U Thunderblack set of strings.
I was thinking about buying an acoustic bass, to use in situations such as trips or acoustic jams... Do you think it makes sense to buy an ukulele bass or is better to go with a standard acoustic bass?(I'm mainly worried about the volume of the sound)

Not without an amp. It’s fine if you’re playing on your own, but with other instruments it will be drowned in their sound

It's not much different from an acoustic bass guitar.
If you're just playing by yourself at home you don't need an amp. That's one of the reasons I love it, you can just grab it and jam.

Es gibt mittlerweile auch Metallsaiten für Ukulelenbässe. Keine Ahnung wer die macht, aber die könntest Du ja mal probieren. Dann sollte das etwas eigenartige Spielgefühl weg sein

Someone tried regular flats recently and was very happy with the results. Not sure where I read that... however- seems to be possible

I just put on a set of "Pyramid silver plated wound" looks good, sounds great. Te tension on the strings is way higher, maybe some day the neck or bridge will deattach, but meanwhile I enjoy of a hearable acoustic bass

An acoustic bass guitar doesn't sound without amp and a bass Ukulele much more. Body is too small for an acoustic guitar and much more, when it is an octave lower.

@@basstheworldofficial Is auch so ein Mini-Akustik-Bass (25 Zoll-Mensur) mit Gumminudeln dran. Und die werden so abgefeiert, dass mich auch schon die Versuchung kitzelt. Da hätte ich eben bei BTW Rat gesucht :)
