What I learned from reading "The 38 Letters from J.D. Rockefeller to His Son" (a.co/d/iwwbzao) by John D. Rockefeller. www.founderspo... Full Transcript and Show Notes: www.founderspo... David Senra: x.com/Founders...
This episode hit me on a deeply personal level. The way Rockefeller wrote honest, no-nonsense advice to his son is such a rare and powerful thing. As a father, it reminded me of how important it is to communicate with that level of clarity and authenticity when guiding my own kids. Your podcast has this incredible way of distilling timeless lessons and making them feel relevant in every aspect of life-not just business. It’s a reminder that great advice can ripple out far beyond its original context. Thank you for consistently showing up and doing this. It’s made me a better father and a better thinker. Keep going!
So happy to hear. Draw your sons under your armpit (as my father would say). Do not allow society to decenter that bond. Society wants to take your son so they can control him. Do not let them.
Hey David, I listen to you since 2020 and just found your TH-cam channel and got a chance to message you. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR IMPROVING ME! You're my best friend!
Hello bro, I just wamna thank you for making these kinds of videos. Actually, I was watching Lex friedman podcast, there he mentioned you. I think you sre by far the most valuable channel on youtube I've ever found.
Some great nuggets in here! -Have the habit of doing it now, get rid of the habit of getting distracted. -Make yourself strong or you’re going to be prey. -unless you give up, you will not be defeated -Replace thoughts of failure with the faith of success. -Guarding ourselves is an indispensable survival skill. -Excuses is a mental illness, people with this illness are all losers without exception 😭 -Second place is no different than last. -A person’s self esteem is the core of his personality -Only by being able to endure what people cannot bear, can you do what people cannot do. -DECIDE to adopt a positive attitude to deal with the complex ups & downs of this world.

God bless you for gifting us with this knowledge🙏🏾. Your video was God’s gift to me.
Society has dismissed the love between father and Son. This write up shows how important it is.
I would love this as a book❤

I learned about this podcast from the CEO of Wayfair. The positive consequence of that advice is only rivaled by the advice from this podcast itself.
Love the way you made this
