Heard Robert Greene name this as one of his favorite books and the inspiration for 48 Laws years ago. I can't go two pages without highlighting. The entire book is a profound quote!!!
Such a great little book, I picked it up randomly in my teens from a thrift store in a small town I was passing by, A bit like Marcus Aurelius Meditations where you can just pick it up, flip it to any page and just start reading and instantly receive wisdom.

Might i offer a recommendation that i beleive your channel would be the perfect place to implement. There are many books about memory that are worthy reads, and the techniques from them could be used by a skilled reader like yourself. For example the 33strategies of war could become a castle tour exhibiting each part as interesting mnemonics, teaching both art of war and the art of memory.
This book ages well, seems I run into these type of people everyday of my life. And if I didn’t know better, I’d say he’s describing the politicians of 2024 distinctly. A true sign that as Americans, either we’ve been taught not to read on purpose or today’s generation is very spoiled. Lost track of you after the pandemic but good to catch up again, keep pouring wisdom.
The idea of censorship falls apart when you think that it's the people who don't say anything who are the biggest threat. Let people say what they want, at least everyone knows what ideas are out there.
If you're squeamish at the idea of making an audio recording of the Book of Laws by Plethon, né Georgios Gemistos, then at least there's the option of making an audio recording of his essay On Virtues. There are English translations of them by John Opsopaus, PhD.
*Hey man, quick unsolicited advice:* You need to practice on sounding softer(like a kind person), almost as if you were reading a bedtime story to your kid. You have a domineering voice( which isn’t a bad thing), but it's just not suitable for reading a book out loud.
