It's been 10 years since we've had a brand new Mariokart game but when you factor in Mariokart 8 Deluxe, the booster course pass DLC, Mariokart Tour, Mariokart Live: Home Circuit, and even some Mariokart scenes in the SMBM... Mariokart has overall gotten a lot of representation during the Switch era...
If they delisted 3d all stars just to bring it back a few years later that would be the most anti consumer thing to do they should have never removed it to begin with
@@10k-Noodlesit is anti consumer because they took away the product for no reason and they would just bring it back and charge full price again? @@brandonscott3423I don’t think it’s anti-consumer at all. They literally said it was to celebrate Mario’s 35th anniversary. They could have made more money keeping it available.
I’m thinking we’ll get the new 3D Mario, new Mario Kart, a new Mario Sports game, a Yoshi’s Woolly World port for switch 1, and trailers for the Mario Movie 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 4
3:36 My prediction is that the Mario 3D All-Stars versions of Sunshine and Galaxy 1 will get their own separate releases on the eShop along with an eShop release of Galaxy 2.
Or what if they have NSO for Wii and GCN? And they emulate the originals from their respective consoles like what they did with 64 a year later after 3d all stars was announced?
@@jockson7574switch 2 needs a better way to replicate the Wii pointer if that happens. The gyro on its own just ain’t cutting it imo. I also have the feeling they might have a hard time deciding on making gc and Wii an NSO offering since many of those games have rereleases or similar titles
They’re going to insist THIS time, their public execution of Mario on March 31st, 2026 will stick. …Like, man, that 35th anniversary was awful. “We have all these cool things! Some limited time merch…” “Disappointing, but collector’s items are to be expected.” “We’re adding a new side mode to 3D World.” “Okay, not much info, but that’s neat.” “And all the games we’re releasing are being put in the Nintendo Vault!” “…But why?” “Because it’s not special if you can buy Sunshine year round! Screw you!”
@ I mean, the games and stuff were all cool. The fact it was most all limited time stuff was lame. I know a lot of people loved Maroo 35 and they would just be making more money off 3D All Stars instead of letting second hand scalpers profit.
I think 2024 was good for Mario but also a filler year for what's to come since in 2025 we get the new console. I think this console is gonna launch with some wild Mario stuff I can't wait to see it all!
I'm thinking that we would get an action-oriented (not turn-based) RPG, which features just various characters that originate from Mario's RPGs. Including the fan-favorite Geno.
Next Mario Kart needs to take lots of inspiration from DK Racing or else it will just be sad how much of a pass MK gets. They need different vehicles, a story mode, coin collection challenges, hidden key, BOSS RACES… etc
I really doubt that releasing the next 3D Mario and rereleasing 3D All-Stars would cannibalize sales considering both 3D All-Stars and 3D World + Bowser's Fury still sold really well despite being released 5 months apart from each other back then, if they released the next 3D Mario first and then rereleasing 3D All-Stars late into the 40th anniversary, they both would still sell well anyways because everybody wants the next 3D Mario and they want the collection to be easily accessible again and preserve 3D Mario history for real this time rather than keeping it on the vault like they have been (and it still is right now), so I don't really think it's a bad idea. imo.
Hopefully a new 3D game and a re-release of an older game not yet available on Switch, Galaxy 2, 3D Land or one of the other New Super Mario Bros games.
Yes! Super Mario 3d all stars should rerelease with smg2, 3d land, and 64 ds added in. 64 ds deserves to be in as it would make the collection even with 3 more games making it 6 into one. And 64 ds is the first 3d game on a handheld only console and people grew up with the ds remake. This rerelease, knowing Nintendo, would only be for the switch 2
I’d love for a new 3D Mario and a new Dr Mario game next year either both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, I’d also like to see The GameCube title WarioWorld get remastered for The Nintendo Switch and I’m hyped for what Universal Studios is cooking up when it comes to Mario Movie 2.
Bo Knows Video Games!!!!!!! Excellent vid. This is the content we enjoy. I hope that we do get a 3D All-Stars 2. I do hope Nintendo re-releases the first one. I do have it physical copy but in case anything happens, need that digital backup. But i do agree with 3D Land. Maybe add some more Bowser content as well. 3D Land Must be included along with Galaxy 2.
Either they’ll make a 3d all stars 2 or they rerelease 3d all stars. Whatever they do, they would have to include galaxy 2, 3d land, and 64 ds. It would be only for the switch 2
Super Mario Brothers the movie cost to make 100 million always double for cost of advertising. So 200 million to make. Total box office was 1.3 billion. So that was a 1.1 billion dollar profit. Now remove 35% for the theater charges. Nintendo pocketed around 700 million dollars. That is silly Oh and it will be called Mario Kart 9 not 10. Even though it is technically the 10 game. It will confuse the majority of players they call it 10. Many players do not know.
My thoughts are that the next Mario Kart will be open world. Burnout Paradise, Forza Horizon have all set the stage for an open world Mario Kart set in the Mushroom Kingdom.
It will be Mario's 44th Anniversary. It will be Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary. But Nintendo doesn't regularly celebrate anniversaries. They got too many to pick and choose from, so it really just comes down to how they want to market something.
I’m confused as to when you said maybe they could add Mario Galaxy 64 Ds would be hard to add to switch cause like the touch screen if I’m not mistaken switch is touch screen so did you mean dual screen ?
This video was meant to go up several days ago lol merry Christmas Eve 🎅😂
