The Canon EF-M 32mm prime lens is a very sharp lens and a neat lens to use on the Canon M50 mark ii. I really enjoyed using it on this street photography trip to London. For more with this lens see the playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL3H9INU8GfVNyHueV9rznUZGdO3MKnHVW.html&si=961g8uB0NXgrnxX3
That was great Dave. Can’t believe you captured the same woman in the same place 😱 Funnily enough I’ve switched off my preview for the same reason. I was surprised you got the shots you did as sometimes your shutter was quite slow. I tend to have 200 minimum but yours were great. Loved it Dave 👍♥️
Thanks Phil, yes I normally like to have much faster shutter speeds, my favourite is 1/500 sec but to do that I have auto iso, this time I wanted to see what results I would get at ISO 100 and generally F/6.3 that meant dealing with whatever shutter speed the camera gave me. I think I will go back to what I feel comfortable with. Regards David 📷👍
Hello David, nice to see you again with the M50. I have bought your recommended Sigma 16mm/f 1.4 lens and because of beeing very satisfied with it, I now ordered the Sigma 56mm/f1.4 too. Next month I will complete with the 30mm/ f1.4. Thank you for your advices and Videos of Canon M-system! You're the last Support of a system that had the same fate as that of the extinct dinosaurs. But: those who are said to be dead live longer. I will never give up my Canon - always Look on the bright side of life...
Dear David, yes, on my first tour using my secondhand 16mm it was a great pleasure. Astonishing results. Now I'm wating for the 56 mm. I'm still thinking about whether I should actually get the 30mm because I already have the 32mm from Canon. It's interesting to see English cities and landscapes in your videos. Unfortunately, we have never been to England, but we would like to do so when we retire - in about 4 years. It seems to me that Cornwall is a particularly interesting landscape (many TV series are set there, such as Doc Matin). But what I love most is "The Doctor and the Dear Cat" - because of the humor and the warm human side. And in London we would like to see the houseboat scene. Chrisoph
I agree with you how good the 16mm is. If a really had to choose I would go with the Sigma 30mm. There are some really lovely places to visit in the UK, there are lots of places here I still would like to visit. Regards David 👍
Great photography shots and great video David , My favourite place for street photography is around the St Pauls area especially Paternoster Square and Watling Street,
@@DavidLudlowPhotography Feeling lots better ,and watching your video its got me itching to go to London for some photography and to try out my new used Panasonic Lumix G7 camera
Hi mate, great vid as always. I own the 22mm, what would you suggest as a good companion? Mostly travel /urban photography. Tempted by the 32mm or the sigma 16mm, just wanted something a little different to the 22mm. Also have the kit lens. Thanks for your time
Thanks for watching Chris. It’s always tough to make a choice especially as I love the Sigma trio of lenses, the 16mm is excellent but is a bit on the heavier side. So if it is for travel then the Canon ef-m 32mm is a really good choice. It’s really sharp, fairly light and is the full frame equivalent of 50mm ish. Kind regards David 😀📷👍
Hi, to be honest there is very little difference, I would say they are about 99% the same. The mark ii has some fairly minor improvements. Eye tracking is slightly improved. The autofocus sensitivity is also slightly improved. I don’t think the difference is worth spending more money on. Kind regards David 📷👍

Love that you walked and found lots more hidden gems to capture
Was a great walk thanks, London is great 👍
Recently added a 32mm to my EOS5. Very good combination along with 22mm. 32mm is razor sharp.
That’s great to hear you’ve added this to your lenses, I agree it is really sharp, I love that combination 22 and 32. Regards David 📷👍

Thanks for your time mate, appreciate it.
What's the difference btween the Mark 1 M50 and M2? Is it superior to the original M50? TIA!
