The deep voice was also V. The whole song its him. His range is just crazy! From deep, soulful tone to his high notes. His voice is like taking you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. It tells a story, the listener can feel it through his voice.
This is why V is known to have the widest range in BTS. The amount of quality, range and texture he has to his voice is incredible. And talking about expressions, his face has its own choreography
For the very first time I listened to a vocal coaches (doubt that he is) opinion that didn't have much good to say about V's voice....Couldn't help but tell him what I thought of his comments!! Made me so annoyed!! I told him he evidently hadn't heard Stigma because V DOES have vocal range!! He has the kind of voice that if you close your eyes he can lull you into a quiet peaceful place...😌
Can you believe V wrote stigma when he was just 19 years old. Such deep and meaningful lyrics. And we all know his love fir jazz and soul and R&B. He is the one who introduced BTS to jazz.
The voice is not from RM but from V. This was V's first solo, he's even one of the writers and composers. In this RM he did not participate in anything, he only mentioned that V showed him the melody in piano and lyrics while he was writing it, he even mentioned that it had a special meaning for V without saying more. This song is part of the Bangtan Universe so the lyrics are related to the events of his character.
V is called by the media and pg as "the diamond voice of Korea" for his amazing and versatile vocal range, he is the only baritone idol in the kpop industry with the ability to sing high notes and make wonderful in the process, he really is fascinating and his songs are amazing, in short he is the treasure of your country.
It was V. His Christmas Song (Snow Flower feat. Peak Boy) has some speaking lines in the background and a lot of people thought it was Peak Boy at first, but V confirmed it was him. :) It's also jazzy, you should check it out... season be damned!
OMG!!" You make me wanna be a better man " gave me chills twice! One hearing it on the song and second in his Vlive (remember the one that he is being naughty playing parts of his unreleased songs cheakely saying he doesn't do what the company says - giving continuously heart attacks to the staff😂)!!His deep voice though!I can hear it all day and never get bored!!
All of the solos are awesome but my favorites are singularity and Snowflower! He has such a soulful voice and his face of course is gorgeous but can convey so much. He was the oneThat drew me into BTS. I’m OT seven but V is my bias of course and I could just listen to him all night long!
The line „you call me a sinner…“ is done by V - I am still so impressed, the song is from 2016 - V was 20. It is a difficult song and what hard working people they are is insane. I love that song and wow, they sound so much better live.
Stigma was the first time that I realised I found my bias..... and it has always stayed the same.... Tae- amazing vocalist, with a beautiful voice, his unique personality, his love for the boys, his love for his family, his love for ARMY, the power of his duality (with which he kills me every single time and I crave death), etcetera ...... There is nobody else like Mr. Kim Taehyung....and that's a fact
I love the "Wings" album so much. I think you should look into all the solo songs on here. "Begin", "Boy Meets Evil" "Lie" and "Awake" are on my everyday playlist. As for "Are you Calling Me a Sinner?" That is Tae. They do all their own backing vocals on their tracks.
It was V, taehyung said that line lmao. He has a really deep voice, so I can understand the confusion going from singing in falsetto to normal speaking voice
V wrote this song when he was 19. rm talked in his live video that he was surprised to see such depth, emotions in the lyrics. and it's V only who says that line " are you calling me a sinner"
it's mixed with the BU but it can also be apart.. I think that's really amazing in the solos... they are inserted in themes but still very personal.. this era is too fantastic 💜
" He just walked away " That's the reaction telling people that he nailed it. The same reaction he's giving after every Singularity live performance ending time... Kim Taehyung knows his power and that's makes him even more dangerous
Whose gonna remind him that he's a baritone ? The widest vocal range + insane versatility Yes I know it's exist - Mr. Kim Taehyung Music Genius, Jazz Music Lover and even study jazz, making jazz song
Every time I hear this song and see the live performance, I think about American Hussle Life and think He made them proud and proved others wrong. So proud of his skills, growth, and range of vocals.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I'm over 50, so I understand that Coolio didn't want BTS to use Hip Hop as a game to make money or take lightly as a joke. For him and others growing up poor or in bad neighborhoods, this music gave them hope. At the same time, I agree that I don't like his methods or way of teaching. I'm very proud of BTS for proving him wrong. They took what they learned and made it their own, not copycats but BTS, like they said in DOPE, their style.
@@gracemclean2098 exactly what I think! (I'm over 60) What made me sad was Coolio's (and one of their tutor's) prejudice. People who suffer it should be more open-minded, don't you think?
OMGGGG you finally reacted to Stigma. My all time favorite of V's solo's. And it's V's voice saying "Are you calling me a sinner?" My daughter had to tell me to close my mouth when I saw this video. It's the song that hooked me on V. The visuals, well they were a bonus. LOLOL. Absolutely love this song!! Thank you for reacting to it!! When I hear him sing, I do feel something like Miss Iris said!! His voice is so soulful, very distinctive. Thanks again!!
honestly this song is incredible. although tae never actually revealed the true and personal meaning of this song, it's likely a song about how hiding ones identity can hurt them and other people. many people interpret it trough the lense of internalized oppression (for example, internalized homophobia) with a sprinkle of religious trauma. so yeah.... it's sad and gorgeous (it also relates to his character in bangtan universe)
This is my fvrt song out of the discography of all the members it just hits very different his voice is just so so unique his tone and the voice quality it's just unbelievable and so soulful

That was all V. I love this song. It shows his vocal range and his range of emotion. He starts slow, then builds & builds into that beautiful high note! Oh my goodness! SO SEXY!🔥 And this is one of those rare occasions that the live version is even better than the recording. BORAHAE DJ & MCA!💜💜 👶👶👶😁
It was V. This is about hurting yourself and they used to to describe how he felt in the BU when he killed his father protecting his sister. The man loves jazz!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

his voice just makes you feel all the emotions. his eyes just let's you get a peek into what his soul is singing at the time. was waiting for this reaction.👶👶👶
Like I said before...his vocal range is so crazy. His deep voice and then he surprises you with his high notes you never heard of. I wish Hybe would give him opportunities like this again because since Stigma he never really had a chance to show his real vocal range.
All of the voices, bg and the lines is still taehyung 😁 namjoon, yoongi and tae's speaking voice are low timbre that's why many are confused sometimes when they are speaking.
it's not from bu.. he doesn't have a brother in bu amd rm said this song is personal to Taehyung stop discrediting the lyrics deepness by saying it's from bu
Eevn though I love all the vocals in BTS, V is my fav. I am more attractive to deep voices and V just has the perfect voice for me, so smooth, sultry, melting honey vocal but can switch up to high pitch anytime it requires. He is the only singer who has made me cry with his voice till now.
I knew MCA would LOVE this song when he reacted to the sound of V hitting those high notes during one of the introduction to BTS videos that they watched! Loved watching your reactions, as always!

His high note in this song is louder on the live version. He’s got so much soul in his voice! So good
