- As May becomes June, and Memorial Day has passed, one thing has become clear in New Jersey... it's beach season! Now that most of the Jersey Shore boardwalks are opening back up for their seasonal operation, it's time to start checking out the many different beachside arcades up and down the coast. Our first stop on this tour? Point Pleasant Beach, home to Jenkinson's Boardwalk and four different arcades. The first and largest of these is Jenkinson's South Arcade, which has a wide selection of modern redemption games alongside other experiences such as VR games, StepManiaX, a couple of pinball machines, shooters and racers, and of course -- the Jersey boardwalk staples -- crane machines as far as the eyes can see. This is also the first location I've seen that has the new Cosmic Tower game available to play, and spoiler alert, it's a LOT of fun. They also have two games that seem to be the hits of the year already, Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR and World Football Pro. It seems like these have been popping up everywhere I go recently!

This arcade was incredible in the 90s and 2000's. Not enough video games and pinball machines in arcades anymore, but I understand why from a financial perspective.
It's nice that they still have a mix and haven't gone 100% redemption and claw, honestly.
I really hope I go to Point Pleasant, NJ again. It has been five years (since 2019) since my last visit there.

More places getting cosmic Tower
You love to see it. I've been interested in this one since I saw Arcade Matt show it off a few months ago, and it was great to finally get to play it. It's just as much fun as I was hoping!
