Nice to see we aren't the only ones with old sheds scattered around the area full of STUFF....The NH spreader,Gehl grinder/mixer,JD small square baler...Where's the honey wagon??? It's got to be there some where...Still use ours to do our septic tanks on occasion.lol
Wishing heartfelt thoughts & prayers to Nicole & your Entire Family Chet.....1st time that I’m commenting, but I have been watching you for some time now. Somehow wish you could pull thee Ole “Millennial Farmer patented finger snap” here & go back to everything’s fine & dandy!! Stay strong & take each day, minute by minute & hour by hour.....You’re gonna have a tremendous outreach of support to lean on - both yourself & Nicole. Praying for strength, patience & peace of mind as you both have to deal with this life changing event & the coming decisions ahead. Wishing Nicole well & for you Chet the strength to be her Rock of Support. May the Good Lord’s Blessings encompass you both, as well as your extended Family.
hello , I am Brazilian and I intend to exchange in the USA about grain farms, I am watching your videos and they are helping me a lot to learn English and language used in the field. I'm not even there and I'm already perplexed by the technical level and structure you have, congratulations and thank you very much!
Hey Doug, I'm a semi retired, semi handicapped equipment operator who will come work for free room and board in the unfinished apartment, (I used to own my own cabinet shop too, I might even finish it for ya while I'm there), not kidding!!!
Dougo,,, I am semi retired, but there is no way in hell I would come up there in the winter time,,, no sir! Now offer me a summer home and we can talk. And you haven’t lived until you’re digging with an excavator and uncover a rattlesnake den... I did it one time and it looked like I was playing wack a mole with the excavator!!! Good times!
Clay Tile! Wow! Im from Kirkville, Iowa, a little pothole east of eddyville and northwest of ottumwa, Iowa, the county seat of Wapello County. When I was 15, I worked after school and on Saturday hauling clay 18 inch tile out to the field . That was 1965. Yes, Im 70 now, but I havent forgotten everything I learned growing up on the farm from Dutch parents and our neighbors.
My father had a gmc Sierra burgandy top and bottom and silver in the middle loaded reg cdn like you guys. He bought it new in 88. 16,000 Canadian. Used it until he retired from farming in 1999.
Absolutely 🥰LOVE🥰 the montage tunes. I didn't think that young folks listened to guitar/shred driven music any more. It's the ONLY type of music for me. Good onya.! Keep'em coming 🥰 Rich UK 🥰🥰🥰.
That fresh hog manure is good for clearing out the sinuses! I knew a guy that dug 2 basements/day for new homes and that was before all the electronic GPS. When he was finished they would check the depth with the old transits, and he was always within an inch or 2 of the target depth.
Hi Chet, just caught the video. Thanks. Love Doug's commentary. We were saddened to hear about Nikki's illness. We will be praying on a continuous basis because we know the power of prayer. There will be a lot of people praying for Nikki because we think so highly of her and the entire family. - Dean from Edina
Amazing - could not really believe how perfectly the Big Suede loaded those big tires and wheels on & off the flatbed trailer without any help whatsoever!
I feel so honored to get to these videos before 1000 have thumbs-upped them... it's like finding my stocking on Christmas morning, or my pants a couple hours later. Hard getting old...
Chet and Erik have either one of you ever operated a Bundle Fork? Onto the wagon or into the threshing machine? Yeah we see the green light , but it keeps turning red again. I am a retired semi and backhoe operator. Along with skid steer, front end loader, Road Grader, boom truck, dragline, and (ballast regulator?). [Whispering] do you know what works nice for transporting that expensive stuff without breaking it down? Partially inflated inner tube.
Hey Chet ya Might wanna go back and check the Monitor on that pitch fork and see how many hours she’s got. Just a Thought Might want to give it a try Though
As a non farmer can someone explain the choice of having a Channel Lock Pliers instead of another tool? Referring to why Chet and the Big Swede carry them on their belts at all times. Thanks
Thanks for the good video. Lots of variety on this one. You have got some tires for sale. Will those sell pretty good??? Nice looking sets of tires. Like the laser setup on the ditch cleaning machine. Makes it a lot easier to know what to take out. Neat way to measure what needs to come out. Of course, main operator Doug has got it in hand-right? Good work on the ditch Doug. Like your laser equipment. Thanks to Nicki for editing the boys work. Thanks. Iowa farm boy from years ago.
@@arnorhermannsson5493 looks like a spectra LR60w, the wireless display beeps to tell you grade and after awhile you don’t even look at the lights it’s pretty awesome
Glad I'm not the only one running backhoe control pattern on an excavator. Catch a lot of flak about it, but a guy should run what he's comfortable with. Nice job Dougo. :-)
@Randy Travis Well.what do you expect from 170.000 caring extended family??? There's a reason we're here, we CARE about these people, the least they could do is give us some kind of info!
Good to here Nikki, is back, hope I got that right. Dougo is pretty good with that track hole. Stay safe and keep warm. I caught myself telling my family what the equipment was on the fields near here. Cool, thanks for the videos
I can recall a couple of times finding clay tile runs in places that completely baffled me. Dougo is the only person I have ever seen using an excavator to swat mice. If you don't miss 'em, they're dead!
I SUBSCRIBE and LIKE because farmers are the backbone of the world.

You can't help but like Larson Farms.
Yes, we see the green light!
That wheelloader is just nice!!!
That Bobcat must be one of the hardest working machines on the farm. I love that lil fella.

I hated after harvest clean up and winter prep LOL Dougo enjoy your excavator, love building road.
The world's biggest tire swing operated by The Big Swede! Start with the kids - then Dougo working - end with the kids. Good video!
Praying for everyone and great video again!!!
dozers blades scrapers are actually pretty fun no matter what time of the year it is

Yes, we need a Nikki update.
Chet , Nicole
Check out Ramble, its somewhat like TH-cam, you can download videos there as well
Godspeed to you and yours
If you had a proper ditching bucket your ditching would be quicker and easier. Ever thought about? Great Videos Guys.
My fathers truck also had the full length aluminum running boards.
Love it when you and the Big Swede joke around! Good to see Dougo out and aobut!
I hope Niki is doing ok.
If you put those tires on pallets you could save a ton of time now and later.
Keep up the good content your the only farm channel I actually enjoy watching
Amazing - could not really believe how perfectly the Big Suede loaded those big tires and wheels on & off the flatbed trailer without any help whatsoever!
You need a wider bucket for that size digger doing ditches
I feel so honored to get to these videos before 1000 have thumbs-upped them... it's like finding my stocking on Christmas morning, or my pants a couple hours later. Hard getting old...
Good to see Dougo driving a good pickup now and not that orange pile!! 👍👍👍
Good job 👍
My favorite farmers great video as always thanks for all the hard work you guys do and all you do that no one knows about keep up the great work 🤙

I laughed at the pole, excavator operator from Sydney Australia. Love your vids

Hay Chet, that 3 tined fork is called a hayfork.

That Crary hoodie looks real good on the Swede.
Would love an update on Dougo's house!
My dad had a pickup exactly like that one except a extended cab version. Brings back a lot of memories
You guys are awesome!!! 😁
Nice looking Ford pick up.
I’d love to see a video on a breakdown of that laser on the excavator
Me to! Wandering about the second reciver in the cab

Nice to see Dougie getting some airtime....miss him..
Those poles are 1k dollar...don’t ask me how I know lol The tractor just grunted a little when the ripper hooked on to it
How is Nicki? Great video too.
Chet and Erik, you are the best!!!
Chet hope your wife is doing well. Dougo does your county not clean the ditches for you?
Why is the county or municipality not doing the upkeep on the ditches?
Dougo is funny as heck!
😂😂😂 I laughed so hard at Dougo trying to smash the mouse with the bucket, oh that was good 🤣 "missed it"
Dougo is becoming a lot more comfortable with talking to the camera, glad to see him become the main character !😂
..just when I thought it...Dougo answered it. "Not for sale."
Enjoyed the video, thanks! :)
You made this kid laugh Dougo!
Glad I'm not the only one running backhoe control pattern on an excavator. Catch a lot of flak about it, but a guy should run what he's comfortable with. Nice job Dougo. :-)
noticed it too.
hard to teach old doggo to sit
I'd do it - being semi-retired. But I live in western Montana ;o)
Would be curious to know the distance between the top of the stick and that 69kv (I'm guessing) power line there Dougo
Hey Chet: Dougo is now THE MAN. Big Time You Tube Video star. Hi Nikki ! Captain Al from Tampa😎
Finally, you're using the bobcat again!!!
You are my favorite TH-cam
All those dodge and ford pickups and the one not for sale is the 91 chevy
probably spent most of it's life in a shop, so it's survived the years without much external damage...
Those poles cost about 10k out here in California...speaking from experience
That’s because you hippie tree huggers think they are endangered species.
@@markbeckendorf7434 that’s hilarious 😂

Check put the big bud tires on Welker farms.
Those are for combines, not tractors
Ive might of missed why you dig the ditches. Im curious why you do it. Its cool to watch.
They get so much rain they really need the drainage so it doesn't flood the fields.
Hi Nikki how are you doing ?
That old. Chevy looked like its in good shape
Hi Chet How is NiKKI doing .....
How much snow are you getting tonight? The radar looks impressive!
