Thank you so much you do for farmers in need. I am not a farmer currently, but growing up on a farm I remember what a good feeling it was to help a neighbor in need. I hope to be able to volunteer one day once I retire 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love to see people helping people. It struck me to hear about your personal story about your family getting help 60 years ago. When the harwest is over, I'd love to see a video where your dad talks about farming when he was young.
In Ag, you can’t just call in sick. You can’t control the weather. You can’t control accidents or illness. Farmers have to show up. Livestock needs to be fed. Crops need to be in the ground or taken out at specific times. You feed the world. I’m not the least bit surprised to see farmers jumping in to help other farmers. You all know that could be you someday. It’s a tight community.
Godspeed to Guy's recovery, I shattered my heel bone in 2017. The bone healed quickly, but the recovery from the atrophy of being non weight bearing for several months took the longest. Glad you could help them through Farm Rescues efforts!
In the 40's my great uncle and aunt lost a young son to a farm accident. Not only did the neighbors and town take care of the farm, animals and harvest. They were fed(given more food than they knew how to deal with) and bills for the fall were taken care of. The next door neighbor paid for the funeral. This is just how farm communities are.
In 1975 just before harvest dad went into the hospital, we had just over 400 acers of wheat left to harvest the neighbors pulled in and there were 22 combines going. three of them were on another piece of land. In 7 hours 240 acers were done. It's great to have such good neighbors. Dad passed away Dec. 7th that year. My brother and I took over that spring and I have been at it now for 48 years. I am ready for retirement, I am 68 and I am tired.
To hear about the number of people who were volunteering to help in addition to the folks from Farm Rescue sure says volumes about the rural community.
I can relate about neighbor's helping in a cirrus. 1957, I was 14 years old, not quite old enough to take over. My dad had a stroke and was laid up for a long time. It was spring so crops needed to go in. I came home from school to find the neighbors plowing our fields. 7 or 8 tractors with plows. The job was done in one day. Farm life is great where everyone looks out for each other.
Zach, I will be donating. I’m not a farmer, but I watch your videos all the time and seeing you mention it many times it’s just a absolutely awesome organization.
Dad also hired out the 510 for several years. In 1977, we upgraded to a Massey 751 pulltype, with our 1976 JD 4430. Then we could harvest a quarter in a day easily, running up to 7mph. We have done custom combining for several farmers for 20 years. But, we also did it for free, when our people needed it. That 751 need 3 3ton trucks to keep up and two augers.
Back in '75, I took off from school to go do my dad's farming after he had lengthy, complicated back surgery. Toward the end of July,17 farmers showed up with tractors, cultivators, fuel, food, and everything else we needed. We plowed over 600 acres of cotton and peanuts the day. They came back in the fall to gather the crops and get them to market. It's an overwhelming thing to have all those folks come out to help a man flat on his back. God bless the farmers, and God bless the United States of America 🇺🇸 🚜🚜🇺🇲.
I also volunteer for FarmRescue -- one fantastic organization I am so proud to be a part of. One of the best things I've ever done is when I reached out to volunteer!
It is absolutely amazing that there is an organization that does this for families, and people in need. May God bless this organization and the families that they help.
This is what America is all about in the rural communities. I remember my grandfather would always help out his neighbors when they needed it. Other farmers would always stop by and say hello to him. I miss this kinda life. 🚜🚜💚💚
Farm Rescue is such an amazing organization. Like you said Zach, 60 years ago your grandfather was lucky to have the community help. But, not everyone has that. Farm Rescue is the farmer’s community.
These are people that are making America Great! Zach - congrats upon that son of yours and your entire family. You are surely blessed my friend and I am positive you realize that. As always, thank you for tanking us along on your daily journeys through life. Bless you and all your family, friends, and acquaintances. Good people seem to be in short supply these days but you are in abundance.
Loved the story about your grandpa and the community coming together 60 years ago-shows how farm families have always supported each other. Full circle moment! 🌾🙏
As a child, my Grandfather and Uncles always helped bring crops in when folks have emergencies which included myself even when spending my summers with them.
Just like to complement you Zach, on how easy you make for people to chat with you which was very apparent with your interviews with Karl, I believe , and Keith his father. Well done.
The way you were shocked that he was there because of you it was amazing. You realizing what you really do for farmers and how normal people like me learn how farming really works all we had before was mike blumbergh lol
I am newer to viewing you channel. Over the last two months I have renewed my faith in mankind. This episode reminded me of when I lived in Minnesota about 27 years ago. I lived just a little ways from you farm in Randall Little falls area. We have a neighbor that was a dairy farmer and her had the bull in with the heifers. He when in with them to fix something real quick. And I think you can guess what happened next. The amazing thing was everybody in the community rallied together and for months we all helped with working the farm till he was able do it himself. I live on the West Coast now and you don't see that out here all that often. People just don't help people all that much. I will ask that no one make this post political as the West Coast of this country is very left leaning. I did not post to start a debate I just want to give Zach and everyone that is doing things like this a hand. Thank you. You guys are a lot of what keeps this country going!
Having been through a crisis time in my life and needed help with filling my roles in my family's life, I pray for and thank all of you who bless others with your services or anything someone else needs. May God bless each and every one of you and also those who are in need!
Love this! Nothing says Farm Community than needing help, and asking for it, and then over whelming response happens. People underestimate just how much farmers look out for one another. The whole world would be better if we all took a lesson from farmers.
Growing up on a farm in the '60s I too saw the cooperation amongst the small villages and the farming community in our area. People helping people. Thank goodness for the cooperative spirit of the farming communities in our western nations. They harken back to a simpler but friendlier time and remind us of the community spirit that helped build our nations.
Zac my Dad as born in 1910 and was a small acre farmer all of his life I was directed away from farming in the mid 70"s when small was not going to be able to continue it,s nice to know that alot of things have changed in the farming community but there will ALWAYS be family first and it doesnt matter whose family Thank You for showing that side of agriculture
Great video, you are showing what the Ag sector is really like…and it’s like that wherever you go in the world. Here in NZ, we had two major rain events. Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, and many other areas were bought to there knees. Livestock farms lost so much fencing, and other infurstructure….whole communities came together and just got shit done….just made you sooo proud to be in the industry. Keep up the good work my friend
I wish Guy a speedy recovery. I broke my femur back in 2018 and had to also have a rod put in place. That type of injury incapacitates your whole leg from waist to toe.
Its truly remarkable how people come together to help another through difficult times. Thats what this Country is all about. Thank You to all the Farmers out there that grind day in and out daylight to dark. Thank You Zach
What a great organization wow it’s so awesome to see all the volunteers come together and help these families and farmers out keep up the great work and be safe 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜
Great video. Love to see people coming together like this to lend a helping hand. But i gotta say, as a midwesterner myself, i just love that classic midwest oh at 20:55
See what matters no one thinks of or even now a days cares! It's not just greed but alsoʻ forgetfulness of what really matter without the material! Much love to the farmers and everything you do or even go through with complications! A sighlent partner that wants to see people who can be ahead or even a friend without an intention of gaining anything
America needs more farmers, farm families and farm communities! Zach- been a follower for a few years now. Trent Johnston: 7 Little Johnston's Tuesday night on TLC!
What an amazing bunch of individuals farmers are, escuing another farm family. On the farm where I grew up, we were always there to help out a neighbor in need. There is not much better than that.
We truly can't thank you enough for the incredible support. We appreciate everything you do for the ag community, Zach!
Thank you Farm Rescue and all the volunteers. You make America great, period. Cheers
Thank you so much you do for farmers in need. I am not a farmer currently, but growing up on a farm I remember what a good feeling it was to help a neighbor in need. I hope to be able to volunteer one day once I retire 🇺🇸🇺🇸
You guys do incredible work!! Thank you for letting me be a small part of it!

this is just how good people are.. you can find them all over- even in big ugly cities like where i live

Keep promoting Farm Rescue, it is worthy 👊

must be a very proud dad and proud to be part of Farm Rescue thanks for another great video
The words, “Done harvesting” has to be the greatest words a farmer can say each year. Good work, Zach, highlighting this organization.
Why does it have to be the greatest words?
@ I take it your not a farmer, never lived on a farm, never worked on a farm, never knew a farmer….. otherwise you would know.
Zach, I will be donating. I’m not a farmer, but I watch your videos all the time and seeing you mention it many times it’s just a absolutely awesome organization.
Nice to see. I was combining helping our neighbours when I was 14. Running a 1965 Massey 510 with a 327 Chevy, no cab, wearing my snowsuit.
Dad also hired out the 510 for several years. In 1977, we upgraded to a Massey 751 pulltype, with our 1976 JD 4430. Then we could harvest a quarter in a day easily, running up to 7mph. You fly over people are the ones who make this country great. Thank You
People from the west coast all the way to the east coast are what makes this country so great.
It is absolutely amazing that there is an organization that does this for families, and people in need. May God bless this organization and the families that they help.
Farmers helping Farmers, outstanding

Can't imagine what it would be like to see your son running a combine. As a age I appreciate people who raise good kids more and more.
These are people that are making America Great! Zach - congrats upon that son of yours and your entire family. You are surely blessed my friend and I am positive you realize that. As always, thank you for tanking us along on your daily journeys through life. Bless you and all your family, friends, and acquaintances. This country needs more volunteer organizations like this. . . Awesome!
America has thousands upon thousands of volunteer organizations. Perhaps you should find one and volunteer so you can look past a TH-cam video.
What a great cause! Thanks for taking us along and leaving the Millennial Farmer Hollywood set.
We have a Massey 9560 combine with the American flag wrap love the combine such a simple machine they should not have stopped making them
Shame they dropped the old masseys for the ideals
@ I heard there’s a possibility that they might be coming back but they will be silver like the gleaners I don’t know why they would do that
@ strange. Time will tell I guess. I would think if they brought them back It’d be similar internals under ideal branding
Bravo ... americans helping americans .. God Bless
Man this is awesome!! Great job everyone!!!
God bless all framing so thankful for all they do 😊❤
Excellent video. Farm Rescue is an amazing group, so much fun to hear from the volunteers
Well done to everyone that helped out.
Loved the story about your grandpa and the community coming together 60 years ago-shows how farm families have always supported each other. Full circle moment! 🌾🙏
It was great to see Farm Rescue again. Thanks
I would bet you are really proud of your son.
Way to go for Farm Rescue and to Zach- you guys rock !
It's this right here, this is what makes America Great. This is what we want America to be again.
America has always been like this. Don’t trip over your idiocy too much.
American farmers do seem very good but if you're new President starts a trade war with China, we'll see how the rural community gets on ??
Awesome organization. I love it. And awesome of you too Zack.!! Millennial Farmer Rocks!! Just an awesome farmer outstanding in his field.!!! 😬😇✌💛🗽💯🙏
