    Great overview. Can you take the results of your lighting look dev work in LOPs and somehow export them outside of LOPs (for render in OUT context)? Also any ETA on the new courses?

      @cgforge  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question Jim. I'll have to keep playing with it to find out the options there. Once I get done updating my courses, pyro III is the next course where I'll be layering on complex pyro sims through large explosions. It's going to look really cool

      @@cgforge Export as usd and then re-import via USD SOP? Dunno, just a thought

      @@jbach Yep, "USD Rop" is what you're looking for on that one

    thanks for the tutorials it is really very complete and I followed you, Karma is spectacular I love it really is simple, but I have to learn to export the video format my works, I did something similar to Mantra in the end exporting in frame range but nothing appears like to export the video. I don't understand how to get the video in my desktop.

    Tried it but it never rendered. I left it running for an hour.

    Hey Tyler, does Karma have GI?

    • @cgforge
      @cgforge  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've been wondering the same thing... there's no GI tab, so I'm not sure

    Is this a final renderer?

    • @cgforge
      @cgforge  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Karma is destined to replace Mantra eventually

    Did I see a rendering for one frame taking 12 minutes just now? :D

    • @cgforge
      @cgforge  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Karma's not too fast yet, but I imagine that might improve in the future :)

    Played some time. I like this procedural workflow, but, Karma is so slow. Hope Redshit or Octane will work inside this environment
