A live band in The Red Garter is my favorite show this season. The Swell Tones is second. The others what I'm in the mood for or time of day/which part of the park I'm in. For having budget reductions after the big expenditures the last couple of seasons with 150 which got an extra season with Spectacular Live E! did a really good job. I played around with shooting this from the balcony in part to see if I wanted a HalloWeekends show up there in addition to the customary front table. I tried the monopod sitting. Interesting but hand-held worked better. I never liked balcony POV's but can make something of it for a wide shot with some zooms. You have to have just the right angle or it looks and sounds a bit off fwiw. The final show of the day no one was up there. That's usually is a light crowd. And older for that matter. It wasn't a full cast today. They did a good job. I like the front table POV 99.999% of the time like we both shot this show. Usually from the right side to get the far wall or a bit off-center. It's good we covered both sides. Overall I'm glad we got something different from the shows this season. Either in the way we shot them (Bleachers or Front & Center), which cast we had (Come See) or set (Swell Tones). Pretty pleased with it not being redundant. We both had good weather. Since you shoot shows at different parks I'd wonder what subs think of the different ones. I don't turn on notify subs since a lot of mine aren't from shows oddly enough. They find them by browsing. Maybe a search. Sometimes links. I had the old KI Haunt Undertaker checking out past HalloWeekends vids which was cool. And Cedar Point fans enjoyed the KI Haunt 2008 Dead Awakening. I'm unable to go down to KI this season. It was good to see your solid All Wheels Sports vid. It's crazy seeing Jaren Grob the X-Games skater on the same stage as Dead Awakening.
I only had two full days 3 weeks ago today. Time flies when you are having fun. On Tap: Home Brew is a difficult name for a band, nobody will search for it. My only choice was get close to front center and record. The video turned out well. They kept running off the stage and out of camera range. There are two views of Summerbration as well as Phantom Theater Encore. I am also publishing Dorney Park Grand Carnivale videos. I had to leave Kings Island before it started, The videos usually end up more popular and get more views after the shows end. Cedar Point and Kings Island shows end on Sunday 13 August.
