The scariest part about roller coasters is when they drop at almost a 90 degree angle, you just get that chill up your spin

Sadly, this is the closest I'll ever get to going on any kind of theme-park rides; as I'm physically disabled/wheelchair-bound. I used to love theme-parks SO much & my favourite type of ride was always the "sudden drop" rides. It makes me want to cry, knowing I'll never feel it or experience it ever again... 💔✨🎢✨💔
Why can't you ride roller coasters when you're wheelchair bound? Surely the staff can help you get into attractions?
+maxk880 I'm afraid it's not as simple as that in my case. My medical condition (known as "CRPS" or "RSD") not only makes it impossible to put weight on either leg to walk/stand; I also have to keep both legs elevated at all times & can't tolerate the affected areas being touched, as it causes terrible pain. If my legs/feet are pointing towards the ground, the pain in both my legs will burn like they're on fire/covered in lava; I'd also break out in painful sores that continuously bleed, splitting open again & again (as they are almost impossible to heal & I have been hospitalised because of this). At home, I actually have to use a hoist just to get from my bed & onto my wheelchair/the toilet; so you can imagine how silly it would be for someone offering to help me out of my wheelchair in the way you suggested. I'm afraid such activities just aren't possible... 😣♿️🔥

+Dreyness Thanks for your support. It is sad, but I always try not to let it get me down. I'm glad that I was able to experience the rides at some point in life before it happened. Also, I can tag along with my sisters, my nieces/nephews & watch them having fun. In Autumn 2017, I even convinced my older sister Dawn to get on a roller-coaster for my sake; despite being terrified of those rides. She was glad that I convinced her to do it, though (even though she was petrified, LOL). I became permanently disabled when I was 19, but I still had 18 years of freedom to go wherever I liked. I've so many good memories, which is better than nothing. It's not the end of the world, even though I'll always need a wheelchair & other disability-aids. There will always be other ways for me to find happiness & I've all the time in the world to do it. No matter how many bad days I have or how depressed I feel; I'm a survivor & will always get through it, with the help & support of my family... 💕✨❤️✨💕

I remember my first time on a roller coaster, I said to myself this is going to be a piece of cake, then the first drop I felt like I was going to die of fear.
Lol the first time i went i was with my friend for my birthday and i was yelling for my mommy the whole ride
The first time i went on a real roller coaster had a drop that went straight down then a loop and i was in the front and i was so scared i couldn’t scream i was just sitting there being tossed around

This is almost 3 years old so many it’s changed now but like why is there no theming anywhere? The coasters look so fun but i really dislike it just being a track in a empty field? I’d much rather go on a “less thrilling” ride with amazing theming around it then a great track in a empty plot of land.

I agree, big reason why i prefer Busch Gardens to Six Flags, Kings, etc.. they actually made an effort to integrate even their B&M’s into the terrain of the park while adding theming.
By no means do I dislike the parking lot and open field coasters of the other parks but utilizing the terrain and theming makes it a more immersive experience for sure.

@@oculus5995 It kidna makes sense but it really doesnt lol. If you dont get adrenaline youre supposed to not be afraid of it, thats the whole point of adrenaline. So it being worse than a coaster wouldnt make much sense.

I love Kings Dominion, i go there every year. My favorite roller coaster has got to be Twisted Timbers. Its literally the smoothest roller coaster i have ever been on, its so much fun.

Volcano is really cool and one of the most unique coasters I've been on, but KD could and should make the ride a bit longer and update the theming on it. Idk if it's possible to add another launch with a Kingda Ka style hill but they have the room in the park and it would be the first inverted coaster to do a hill like that.
Yeah,when they finally fix it. It's [as of recently with the release of "Twisted Timbers"] my 4th favorite roller coaster in the park. I wish they would hurry up and get Volcano working again.

The first coaster, Intimidator 305, is the newest, having opened in 2010. So the state of the coasters might make them look newer than they are. Kings Dominion will however open a new coaster in 2018: Twisted Timbers. Opening is planned for March 24.

i went on one of them, i think it was the anaconda and it was probably the worst roller coaster experience ive had there i had to actively focus on not hitting my head, but the rest of them are a w e s o m e

Intimidator 305 was one of the first coasters I rode and from then on I have been obsessed with the thrill!

yeah . . . Anaconda is your typical "bang your head" Arrow looper . . . . but hey, going underwater is sweet :)
(for the record, I think on those Arrow loopers, the trains should be replaced by Vekoma or B&M trains with the vest restraints)
No it just needs to be completely retracked point blank period as i went on it last September and i've never in my life felt the need to take a pain pill for the amount of times my head knocked back and forth into the restraints.

I think they should take anaconda down and replace it with a flying ride so it feels like youre flying over water
They should turn arrow loopers into Chance Hyper-GTX's. Technically, Morgan still exists but under the name of Chance, so basically do what they did with Steel Phantom.
Man I love Roller Coasters in Kings Dominion but I'm literally scared shitless to go on the Observation Tower near the front of the Park. IDK why.

Tilden Mueller I couldn't tell you why. I've been on every roller coaster in Kings Dominion and every roller coaster in Cedar Point when I dated this chick from Ohio. I'll go on any rollercoaster but I freak out and can't do those Drop Towers or even that observation tower.
Dustin Platt I know I have been on nearly all of them too and when I went there with my family the first thing we did was go to the observation tower and I was scared cuz on the roller coster you go up then straight down but on this its up then you stay there but the view is so amazing once your up there you will want to go again also I couldn't do the drop tower either it's terrifying

I’m going to king’s dominion for my spring break so I needed this video so that I’ll know what roller coasters to go on.
I actually went on every rollercoaster at kingdomion and it was a great experience hearing no one screaming
yo quarantine got me here I miss going to lagoon and feelin so excited and scared
I wish every coaster had a lift hill like the first. Supremely fast and smooth, no clanking. The launch on that hanging coaster was great too.
The clanking is a safety feature if the chain suddenly stops

my anxiety + the fact that i’ve watched final destination. i could never😂-
It's amazing how that first coaster loses so much of its energy so fast. It starts off with a huge lift hill and major first drop then quickly becomes a ground-hugging terrain coaster.
Actually making it close to the ground gives a more intense experience (that 270° helix at the beginning is just brutal), plus you can notice some trim brakes around the track so the train slows down more than usual

I lived in Virginia for thirteen years I grew up with king’s dominion unfortunately the volcano was closed down about a year or two ago I never got to ride it and I absolutely love the twisted timbers ride I loved riding it I’ve always loved roller coasters I turn 14 in April and those rides are so fun
And the drop tower is really fun I’m 14 and unfortunately I don’t live in Fredericksburg Virginia anymore so that sucks

Jason Paniagua fun fact: most people black out during the first drop and first turn, and if you don’t black out you’ll definitely grey out which means your eyesight goes completely blurry for a quick second and then clears up.
