All I know is the police are way more corrupt in Ramadi. Gotta pay the cop at the door of the police station just to let you in, then pay another cop just to be acknowledged. More "joy" my arse. Lol.
@@thekoreantraveler, I've been to Iraq three times. I was in Ramadi and Taqaddum in 2003-2004 (8 months). In 2005, I was up around the Syrian border (4 months). My last tour was in 2006-2007 at Camp Fallujah (9 months). Actually, in 2003-2004, I was also in and out of Fallujah for missions. I'm a middle aged man now, and I genuinely wish I knew then what I know now. Parts of Iraq were absolutely beautiful. I'd love to go back, but I know it would be hard for me. My last tour was so stressful and traumatic, that I honestly thought I wasn't going to make it back. Thanks for making this video. I'm genuinely happy things are starting to look better over there.
Most of the Iraqi cities have been rebuilt and developed. The war ended a long time ago and we are living a normal life now. I am from Baghdad and I live in a small city. There was no explosion or bombing in my city. I watched a video on your channel about Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets. I love the National Hockey League. Patrick Kane was my favorite player with Jonathan Toews. I will never forget how Artemi Panarin played with Patrick Kane. I loved this duo. I am excited for this season because Matvey michkov will play with Philadelphia. respect from iraq ❤ 🇮🇶
@@Teaamery I'm so happy to hear that the cities have been rebuilt and developed. I absolutely loved talking to the Iraqi people there and enjoying the amazing food. I hope one day to visit again. I was in 3/1 in 04 as we pushed through and I was sent this. This is so wild to see, but glad that it looks like a stable place after all the blood we shed there. WOW!!!!
Hey bro I'm glad you're still making videos.. It's crazy how the media portrays these places as so dangerous but they look so nice in reality and I guarantee you the people are extremely hospitable
Man, this video warms my heart! Glad to see they are doing much better. I was there in '07 and '08, and know what condition that place was in. They were always a positive people, in the midst of chaos.

Damn. Never thought I'd see Fallujah look like that (positive way). I was there in late 04 and early 05. Thrown in with RCT7. Hell the convoy to Fallujah was no cake walk either. Left at night from Camp TQ and Took Highway 11. They lit our ass up with small arms fire and RPGs. Spent most of my time patrolling The Clover Leaf as well as the entrance to the Hospital and Rail Road Tracks on the East side of the city. After the battle wound down and was wrapped up, went back again in January of 05 for the elections. Doing pat downs and security for the Iraqi People. Your country the United States armed these terrorist organisations the artillery to kill Iraqi civilians. They were using American weapons to do so. That's not helping Iraq or any other country in your "war on terror" but rather make problems worse.
