Ok great review you nailed the movie part of this film I have never seen it before I did see the one in the 70's or 80's was not too bad made for tv version. And you did hit on the history part of the story correct I did find the audiobook and I love the actress reading it can't remember the name but if this was Anne's real voice in English she would have been perfect. Ok the one part that was wrong in the movie its very minor but true there was no kitty in the attic with them when they moved the cat stayed in the house and fed off what was left behind for kitty. I found the story with Peter in the movie was Hollywood taking liberty on the romance Peter was a shy awkward boy they did have a little fling in the diary but did not go that far. I found and maybe I am wrong if I misunderstood she loved her father very much and Margo but the relation with her mother was strained and did not care much for her till they are taken away to the camp. After I did the audiobook I did find a video of Otto gave an interview to the BBC and had one of Anne's diaries her handwriting was so clean and neat also found a BBC movie of what life in the camp was like for the women I could only stand about 5 mins the piece was the last 30 mins of the movie but was too depressing. Sorry to ramble on so much its Christmas morning 1220am here in Burlington Iowa I go back to bed soon enjoy your reviews very much you explain them very well if i think of any you should do in the future I will send you a short list from your collection in the background you could open up your own Blockbuster bye for now luv ya😊😘💞
