At 17:32, when the lyrics for the song start to come in the middle of the fight is just pure bliss. Also i love how the music is not grandious or epic like, its somber & sad. This whole fight & arc is just so tragic & depressing that you can literally feel the music mourn the battle thats happening. Faputa is literally caring out her reason to live & now shes forced to fight someone that made a promise with her, left her for years & came back to challenge her after loosing most of their memories. Kinema Citrus really knocked things out of the park with this adaptation.
If you have read EP8 and 10, then you will understand what ED wants to convey, corresponding to the love between Faputa and Reg, the family ' s affection between Vueloeluko and Irumyuui, this ED is universal
you can really feel her frustration, Reg promised he´d be back to make her happy, but now after so long not only did he forget about her he´s betraying her too, and criticizing her for things he and Gabu tol her to do, you really can´t blame her for being angry
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" This becomes even more poignant if you read the manga and saw in the flashbacks that Reg and Faputa were more than just friends.

In Season 1, just before leaving, Riko had a boy as a very close, loving friend (she obviously didn't notice that, but we viewers did! :) ) So shipping Vueko-Iru, Reg-Faputa, Riko-Friend in S1, Nanachi-Mitty would solve the equation. ;) Understandable that Riko and Reg, under these Abyss-circumstances and albeit Reg's loss of memories w/out any fault on him, had stepped into that "love the one you're with" situation.

So when he used it to save her from the Red Floaty Monster, it was because he didn't have a choice. It must also have caused him to shut down for good. I'm assuming that if it wasn't for the electric discharge that they provided him later that night, he wouldn't have woken up at all. Running out of energy caused his memory to get purged from a kind of buffer, that's why he's only getting some details back as he experiences his day to day.

People like to defend Faputa but she needs to be stopped. The villagers did nothing wrong and Irumyuui lost her humanity long before they started eating her deformed baby bunnies. Besides her own selfish wish turned her into a cow a deformed Kirby from hell cow. Faputa is a demon anyways she was born from a an egg similar to the behelit from Berserk.
If Faputa were to liberate her mother's suffering, the villagers who lived in it would be doomed to die. The village is like a big illegal building like the Kowloon Walled City, and she has no responsibility or obligation to the villagers. The demon theory is even more nonsense, if you look at it from the perspective of human beings on earth, the villagers who have become hollow should not live.
So, you don't blame them for eating Irumyuui's child? .... Either way, wazukyan and vueko is the one who make irumyuui to use the cradle of desire, and wdym selfish wish? ... is it wrong if someone who cant get birth want to have child? ... That's quite a shallow level of insight, sorry but you are missing out on the moral dilemma here, there's not right nor wrong and no action was performed in a selfish manner, as self preservation is the prime directing of any living organism. In the face of death, some of the villagers may have preferred to die instead of eating dead children, but since nobody was in a condition to make that choice, The Leader decided to save them all. Belaf sure went crazy with remorse and guilt. Most of the villagers decided to make do with their new life tho. And nobody can truly blame Faputa for wanting to end them either, since all of them committed an unforgivable sin. If the Abyss gives and takes, then Faputa is the embodiment of the rebalancing of value. All that was given, will at some point be taken.
