Pile2, it was only a fairytale that i wanted to become true... We walked away... Took me several months to heal, I'm still healing, but as u mentioned my feelings has started to fade, finally and I'm slowly becoming more sure that he wasn't the right person for me...im starting really accepting the fact and letting it go, I'm not saying him because what I need to let go is the fantasy that I've built and got attached to. Pile 1 resonates. Had been in a situationship with this man for a year and a half. Everything was so great except he wouldn’t commit to me and was maintaining a friendship with his ex that made me very uncomfortable. He’s been gone on a trip for 2 months with a month left. Last week I told him I was done with his non committal energy and cut it off, told him I wasn’t having this go on anymore without commitment, and ghosted out. Last night, he came back, called and I didn’t answer and he left a voicemail saying he wanted to talk to me, sounded like he was crying. 2 hours later I got a text from him telling me he was sorry and that he hopes I can forgive him and he wants to make it up to me and commit and sees a future with me, etc. I told him to not contact me for the rest of his trip, to really think about what he wants, and if he feels the same when he gets back, we can talk about it and see what happens. He’s gonna have to do some serious work to get me to trust him again, but I really hope he steps up and means what he says. He’s a really good man and I love him, so really hope this manifests when he returns. Thank you 🙏
