- Krystal's in a hurry but the universe conspires to get in her way.
This was a lot of fun (and a lot of work) to make and has been the most ambitious animation I've made to date. It's also something of a testing ground for some 3D animation and was good to get some practice in.

Ok, I've just removed the 'made for kids' status on this video, so you can now comment away!
Why was is set to this in the first place? When I uploaded this video, it was around the time TH-cam introduced guidelines where you had to specify whether a video is meant for kids or not. I wasn't 100% clear on the requirements at the time, so I thought if a video had no inappropriate content, you HAD to set it as 'for kids'. Still don't know if this is true or not, but my videos are never intended for kids, regardless of content so... technicality?
TH-cam's new guidelines are just confusing and stupid nowadays

@@lazyvideoproductions2979 yeah it was a bit rushed, and the model i used wasnt the best i could've used, though unfortunately there aren't any gmod ports of actual game models with face posing and other ones with face posing dont look that great either

I know this is an incredibly pedantic nitpick, but I'm training to be an aviation mechanic. And that maneuver would cause hours of inspection and repair to an aircraft, which are far less temperamental than spacecraft.
Basically Slippy better be getting a pay raise.
😆 I'm sure that's not the average landing procedure. But I think the robot Rob could help Slippy out. I assumed for massive or maintenence repairs they left it up to Rob and emergency repairs and inspections to Slippy. Im still waiting for a super fleshed out starfox game so we don't really have to speculate so much with what goes on
That manuever is known as the "Reprimands Later", or as a child we knew them by the name "Asking for Forgiveness is easier than Asking for Permission."

Its only a small detail, but the idea of Krystal considering Great Fox her home, is pretty wholesome.

Star Fox has always been my favorite Nintendo series, it's a real shame Nintendo isn't doing anything with it

In fact, Star Fox Zero is actually my favorite game so far.
And considering that they are still doing it even if one of the games is bad, I have to say that Star Fox has a chance.
We just have to wait and see.

@@riftshredder5438 Star Fox 64 is my favorite too, and my very first Star Fox game I played, I kept laughing at the Forever Train Engineer said "No! Hit the break! I can't STOP IT!!!!!", and my favorite bosses Spyborg, Sarumarine captain, Star Wolf, Forever Train Engineer, Shogun pilot, Vulcain, Bacoon, Gorgon, Andross (hence brain), Attack Carrier captain.
HOT DAMN!! these 3D flight sequences are phenomenally well paced and super smooth.
Could easily watch a whole hour of this

I like the part where Fox McCloud expected Krystal to kiss him, and she just ran past.
Makes me think that it's happened before. She's come back from a mission and straight into Fox's arms. She probably will kiss him later though lol
Very cool. Very well-done space battle. I love the details like the weapon ports opening on Krystal's Arwing or her being able to scan an asteroid for viable paths through.

I don't know what to say other than that this is amazing. Watching it felt like an actual Starfox level and the ending was super cute.

That's some cool space dogfighting on display. The maneuvers at 0:49 and 2:01 are pretty clever, and the use of the scanner at 1:54 is a nice little worldbuilding detail.
I need a HOTAS Now (Hand On Throttle And Stick, aka what Krystal is using. One paw on joystick, one on the throttle lever)
Why is this animation underrated it's good
Great animation, would've been so much better if there is some dialogue as well like Fox saying "Hey, love. You're finally back." or something like that

Can I just say that I *LOVE* how you dress her? Like, it references her design in Adventures, but also is like... a more "natural" evolution of her original look instead just squeeze her into a standard sexy scifi catsuit (that also clashes somewhat with her fur AND her character?)
