@@bluebanditpullteam the tractors that have very little smoke when pulling are the ones doing it right, tuning the fuel/air ratio for this application is critical. At high rpm’s diesels are known for poor combustion but reducing soot is still possible.

Your telling 2000-3000+hp Diesel engine builders they don’t have the science figured out? Some of these tractors have the DEF system unplugged….
