You can pretty much hear “Suga” before most his solo’s. I pick it up a lot when listening on my headphones. I’m thankful for all the corrections to the translation! Whatcher Fans are the most informative fans! But can we give a shout out to Suga’s vocals before his rap line! I had to stop that part and listen to it several times! It’s unmistakably Suga!

If he wrote or produced it, you'll hear his tag in front of it. Just like you'll hear RM screamed out, or HOPE WORLD. It's their producer/writer tag.

i think one of the main reasons why Suga doing a collab with him makes so much sense is because they both are very big on mental health and the song came out amazing. Suga's way of describing love really touched my heart. And Suga as a solo artist, or Agust D or Min Yoongi, it doesn't really matter which name we use, has been getting alot more recognition for his solo works which makes me insanely happy as we all know how good he is at what he does. Go Suga! RIP JuiceWrld!

I really appreciated Blaze's comment about how Suga and JuiceWrld were rapping about 2 different kinds of love. It sounds like Juice was rapping about maybe love in the beginning, getting all caught up in the newness and excitement of it, and Suga was rapping about the messiness of trying to love someone, needing or wanting to part ways, then finally realizing it was love and it being over.

I'm sorry but yoongi's lyricism was LOST in that lyric video and I'm lowkey mad! The way he describes love with colour blue, the metaphor with carrot & stick and so much more! The last line of his verse was one of my favourite lyric ever -

I wanted to write the same, this lyrics video is to eehhh, someone wanted make it more poetic for some reason like why? It is poetic and raw and that raw part was lost in this translation.... Ehh especially this last line about love that I think everyone love. It hit more.

Ikr..Lyric video makers are always in such a hurry to acquire views, so they just grab any hastly translated lyrics and just post it.. it's sooo heartbreaking for a korean like me to see esp namjoon's poetic and beautiful korean lines become such plain, ug ly and incorrect sentences.....

Suga’s voice is a warm blanket on a bleak cold day. It’s a soft and sweet vulnerable side of Suga we rarely hear. He’s so poetic and we are blessed 🙏
Yoongi and JuiceWRLD’s vocals blend so well and their styles are very complimentary, this song showcases each of their vocals so well. I’m glad Yoongi contributed to this project and it’s a shame that JuiceWRLD passed so young. Thank you for your guys’ reactions, really enjoyed it!

Suga is 'SUPREME'. Suga's participation {harmonizing and rapping}, 'elevated' this song. Without Suga's artistic talent, this song would not have been played over and over again… as it is now. Over & Over….
I was watching some behind the scenes BTS thing once, and they were singing American Christmas tunes, and SUGA was belting out Jingle Bells or something like that, in a very over-the-top, slightly-too-high-for-his-range way, yet very passionately, as he's known to do when he's not singing seriously, and the guys were all laughing, but then he got really serious and said "Guys, seriously, If I'm still doing music when I'm 40, I swear, I'm going to be a vocalist!" Lol. I feel like he keeps dabbling in singing (I love 'Interlude: Set Me Free', his amazing harmony part in BTS' cover of Coldplay's 'Fix You', even though his part is sadly, so short, and his part in 'Life Goes On,' is essentially singing as well), so I hope we won't have to wait that long to hear more from little songbird Yoongi.🕊

I've noticed Suga always says his name just before he starts his verse. He did it in the songs with both IU and Max. I think he's also done it in some BTS songs. I can never unhear it now that I know it's coming. Great song collab! Rest easy Juice WRLD.

I really love Yoongi’s lyric “what’s refreshing can otherwise feel cold” because the idea of something being “refreshing” is relative to a specific context. Just as a glass of cool water is only refreshing in the summer-in the winter it’s not refreshing, just “cold”-when other aspects of a relationship aren’t going well, love being present might actually make it feel worse and “cold” rather than being “refreshing” in the context of that bad relationship.

this song is so hauntingly romantic and sadly beautiful, given the circumstances and the poetry itself. Jarad and yoongi definitely worked so well together, another masterpiece by them.

Edit: I've noticed every songs when Rapline enter the song has their own " whisper-like " trademark like Suga does.. RM was "RM!" while Hobi was " Hope World ".. Must listen to So What you can listen theirs..

Suga did it again! He introduced a new style of music, rap mixing with heavenly etheric tones and beautiful poetry. Did you notice, how low his vocal octave was? Soothing baratone of poetic rap. I liked how he said another name for love is blue. That is very poetic. His choice of melody and style of singing flowed really masterfully with Juice's rap. Suga and Juice both did a great job on this collab.
Suga sounds so good on this. He did juice justice. I'm so sad they couldn't work on this together in real time but what a lovely tribute suga added to this song posthumously (as far as I know that's how this went)
I must admit I never really was a fan of juice world but I did listen to his songs and this one much be my fav his rapping voice fits perfectly with Yoongis and I just am in love with how poetic yoongis verse is aswell

I will be perfectly honest. Suga saved this song for me. I didn’t like JW part about killing if she left. I do understand that he meant that he can’t live without her, but how it was worded isn’t my favorite. Besides that line I do like JW’s part though. I do love Suga’s amazing poetry and the tone be rapper in was perfect for this song. It was beautiful to hear a little more of his singing voice!!!

The first time I heard this, without the translation of the Korean, I thought like many that it was "romantic" in a sweet way. Then when I read (several versions of) the translation of SUGA's part I, too, thought there was a juxtaposition of ideologies. However, when you really look at Juice WRLD's words, he is describing an obsessive/possessive relationship, not a sweet love. So the "two" relationships are actually the same one, with "too extreme a chemistry."
The more I listen to the song, the more I enjoy it (even if I find the love story an unhealthy one lol).
Truth be told, I didn’t know about juice until he collaborated with BTS in 2019, and even after that I wasn’t a fan of him so I was curious about if I would like this song or not.. but it blew all my expectations!
