Yo I listened to this song many times and liked it. I never really knew anything about bts and their music until you explained it. I just imagined suga kinda re saying juices message in his own way in his own language and that shits dope to me.

D2 is standing right in front of you, I'm 10000% sure you gonna love it because of Suga's lyricism and the sounds he used and how he produced those songs.
First time viewer here. Thank you for being open and for appreciating artistry regardless of the language. I have seen a lot of reaction vids here who were straight up racist and the first time they heard it's not in English they straight up said it was trash. THANK YOU. Also, I found this translation which explains the context of Suga's verse :
1. Suga often used the color of blue in his song lyrics to bespeak his depressed and depressing state of mind; another name of love is the color blue - sadness represents the aspect of love.
2. The second line, Suga utilizes the word "refreshing" to characterize the feeling of love. Koreans use this word almost exclusively to describe the look, feel, and smell of a verdant leaf, flower or forest. Therefore, the translator believe that Suga uses this word as a metaphor to mean that "love smells of flowers." Furthermore, the word (geu-juh) or just in the context of this line means "most of the time."
3. Suga's line, "when we're together, one feels the distance" was probably inspired by one o Korea's greatest modern poets, Ryu Shihva, who wrote that "I miss you even if you are by my side."
4. The coda part of Suga's verse, for many of you who had probably fought like hell with your partner throughout a relationship only to realize that you really love her when it all ended.

To add, the carrot and stick reference means carrot (reward) and stick (punishment). The phrase "carrot & stick" is a metaphor for the use of a combination of reward and punishment to induce a desired behavior.

One bar that is in the chorus is “I ain’t gon lie you got it all” his girl’s name is ally, and so obviously he called her “all” or some variation of that.

it's very melodic, and as u said "atmospheric", like almost like BGM style that just flows n relaxes u. both their voices match in terms of the theme of the song. the low octave of their voices just brings a lot of calmness for me. i love that. Honestly I would’ve loved for suga to sing this in English, the lyrics are definitely so impactful and beautiful but his vocals just don’t mesh together with this song and I believe they ruined it, I don’t dislike suga in fact I have a lot of respect for him because of the amount of respect he’s shown to juice but I can’t just sit there and listen to his part, I’m here for juice wrld and juice wrld alone, I don’t wanna hear it about me being racist cus I listen to a lot of jpop, if suga had his own version made I think this would’ve made people happier because I hate the disrespect on a foreign artist but this just doesn’t fit with the song man, it killed the vibe
