I think there was an interview by the a Sonic CD artist (the guy that created Amy and Metal I think) that exclaimed Amy and Sonic are supposed to be in an eternal game of cat and mouse. lol I think before Amy's age was retconned it was supposed to be just a cute but persistent brat (Rosy Rascal) chasing around the mature (15-16) Sonic, but when they aged her that changed things significantly, but the writers never thought about changing her behavior with being aged up, so it just comes off as uncomfortable. The worse examples aren't here though. Dialog from Either Sonic Advance 2 or 3 (can't remember which) and Battle is where Amy is borderline sociopath to psychopath. I don't know if it is mangling of the translation through jp language or what, but she truly comes off as crazy in those games.

This is just how I feel about Sonamy as a whole. No I don't hate it (nor Amy in fact I like her as a character) I just don't ship it. I'm fine with them dating in Sonic Boom but anywhere is just... nah. Besides people are always saying that Sonic is shy of Amy but this video says otherwise. I wouldn't be using 1:05 for this video because that moment was right after Sonic rescued Amy without harming her. The moment where Sonic saved Amy was to show that he mastered his gear by using Jet's technique seen at the beginning of the game with Tail's better gear, which also shows Tails unlocking the secrets of extreme gear that he set out to do in the middle of the story. Sonic even said how he thought that Amy would be fine (which she was), and had no chance on getting hurt for aforementioned (Jet-related) reasons. I feel Amy getting mad here was done for the sake of comedy. Not that I think it makes it funny to me (it is dropped very shortly after the fact in its story), but I think that was the intention. With 1:43 Black Knight, he likely flipped out because he was worried about getting hurt for missing an implied date, as illustrated with two chili dogs and the ending, in which he thought he had an excuse but did in fact get hurt. Funny enough, I'm not a fan of that scene either. It's arguable that these moments are to illustrate that their relationship isn't supposed to be perfect, as they were designed to be an opposite of the "perfect couple" trope like with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Nothing against you and I am not SonAmy shipper by any stretch but this isn't what I call solid argumentation. For one does it not take the massiv changes in Sonic and Amy's relationship between adventure and today into concederation (and I'm not even talking Romantically here) but also paints the picture that this is all there is Sonic being scared forbore Amy. So to not make this just an empty statement will I now actually provide some evidence for my points.. For the start Yes Sonic and Amy's relationship changes quite drastically in Adventure did he literally give up searching for Tails and make rescuing her his prime objective after her capture because Sonic just like Amy her self at this point has no trust in Amy's ability to take care of her self while Amy's victory against Zero would change this and would made her slightly over confident did Sonic's opinion not change at all going into SA2 were He and Tails never take Amy serious in any way and only let her tag along to protect her because she is also hunted down by GUN. It wouldn't be till the Fight against Metal Overlord were Amy alone side the other 8 fighters that are Team Sonic helped delaying Metal so that Sonic and co can power up that he took her serious in anyway. By the time of Shadow's own game is almost nothing of sonic's original evaluation as Amy as Weak and defenseless left not even complaining about her presents on the Black Comet. 06 and Riders would both further boost this point with Sonic in 06 entrusting Amy with dealing with Silver an showcase of confidences in Amy's ability unlike any seen before from Sonic and in Riders his usage of the Tornado Technique in the first place also shows this given how both he and Tails refused to just fight it out when Eggman had Amy at gun point in SA2 while this time sonic goes in anyway despite the same situation because he can by now trust Amy to take the hit. Another point would be that you took 1 of these scenes out of context the Riders Scene happened as already told after Sonic performed a Tornado attack on her and Eggman and Amy was kinda angry about Sonic being to violent towards her (obviously did she not realize her self that Sonic thing much more highly of her than he use to because otherwise would he have never done it) and its also worth mentioning about this scene in particular that nether Sonic nor Amy take it all that seriously while in most prior instances Sonic would have run away from her rather than going into a comedic subroutine and both also stopped with there antics the moment the Babylon Rogues open the door to the inside of Babylon Garden because this was actually something of important's. And the using the scenes from Sonic and the Black knight that you use directly counter your point. Because Sonic was willingly about to go on a date with Amy and its him missing it that made him scared when he saw Nimue and got him into trouble with Amy at the end how is sonic not wanting to get beaten up by a mostly rightfully angry Amy prove that he dislikes her the very fact that he ended up in this situation would suggest the opposite. Using Generation is also not the best of idea's really given that it was written by 2 guys that literally know next to nothing about Sonic and just did a quick Wikipedia page search because Sega actively discouraged them from doing much research. Meanwhile do there more than one argument against you exist here with in the games from Small things like that Sonic hasn't runaway from Amy for no reason since 05's Sonic Rush all the way to the really heavy hitter that is 06 trail of Love that almost with its magic powered wisdom proves that Amy is beside Elise the only character in the games that sonic has ANY romantic feels for (the fact that this prove for Sonic having aromatic feels for Amy may annoy me but its there and I have to deal with it. And erasing Solaris should not have a big enough effect on Sonic and Amy's live as if this isn't the case anymore) (also how can you make such a Anti-SonAmy compilation and forget to include Sonic Battle the game in which Amy is insane well not as insane as in Rush or free Riders she is far worse there but still)

I think there was an interview by the a Sonic CD artist (the guy that created Amy and Metal I think) that exclaimed Amy and Sonic are supposed to be in an eternal game of cat and mouse. lol I think before Amy's age was retconned it was supposed to be just a cute but persistent brat (Rosy Rascal) chasing around the mature (15-16) Sonic, but when they aged her that changed things significantly, but the writers never thought about changing her behavior with being aged up, so it just comes off as uncomfortable. The worse examples aren't here though. Dialog from Either Sonic Advance 2 or 3 (can't remember which) and Battle is where Amy is borderline sociopath to psychopath. I don't know if it is mangling of the translation through jp language or what, but she truly comes off as crazy in those games.

You know I never was a fan of Amy rose 😒 nor crappie shitamy by the way ether, but that doesn't mean she didn't have some good quality or good intentions like she does for friends. I wouldn't be using 1:05 for this video because that moment was right after Sonic rescued Amy without harming her. The moment where Sonic saved Amy was to show that he mastered his gear by using Jet's technique seen at the beginning of the game with Tail's better gear, which also shows Tails unlocking the secrets of extreme gear that he set out to do in the middle of the story. Sonic even said how he thought that Amy would be fine (which she was), and had no chance on getting hurt for aforementioned (Jet-related) reasons. I feel Amy getting mad here was done for the sake of comedy. Not that I think it makes it funny to me (it is dropped very shortly after the fact in its story), but I think that was the intention. With 1:43 Black Knight, he likely flipped out because he was worried about getting hurt for missing an implied date, as illustrated with two chili dogs and the ending, in which he thought he had an excuse but did in fact get hurt. Funny enough, I'm not a fan of that scene either.
It's arguable that these moments are to illustrate that their relationship isn't supposed to be perfect, as they were designed to be an opposite of the "perfect couple" trope like with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Nothing against you and I am not SonAmy shipper by any stretch but this isn't what I call solid argumentation.
For one does it not take the massiv changes in Sonic and Amy's relationship between adventure and today into concederation (and I'm not even talking Romantically here) but also paints the picture that this is all there is Sonic being scared forbore Amy.
So to not make this just an empty statement will I now actually provide some evidence for my points..
For the start Yes Sonic and Amy's relationship changes quite drastically in Adventure did he literally give up searching for Tails and make rescuing her his prime objective after her capture because Sonic just like Amy her self at this point has no trust in Amy's ability to take care of her self while Amy's victory against Zero would change this and would made her slightly over confident did Sonic's opinion not change at all going into SA2 were He and Tails never take Amy serious in any way and only let her tag along to protect her because she is also hunted down by GUN.
It wouldn't be till the Fight against Metal Overlord were Amy alone side the other 8 fighters that are Team Sonic helped delaying Metal so that Sonic and co can power up that he took her serious in anyway.
By the time of Shadow's own game is almost nothing of sonic's original evaluation as Amy as Weak and defenseless left not even complaining about her presents on the Black Comet. 06 and Riders would both further boost this point with Sonic in 06 entrusting Amy with dealing with Silver an showcase of confidences in Amy's ability unlike any seen before from Sonic and in Riders his usage of the Tornado Technique in the first place also shows this given how both he and Tails refused to just fight it out when Eggman had Amy at gun point in SA2 while this time sonic goes in anyway despite the same situation because he can by now trust Amy to take the hit.
Another point would be that you took 1 of these scenes out of context the Riders Scene happened as already told after Sonic performed a Tornado attack on her and Eggman and Amy was kinda angry about Sonic being to violent towards her (obviously did she not realize her self that Sonic thing much more highly of her than he use to because otherwise would he have never done it) and its also worth mentioning about this scene in particular that nether Sonic nor Amy take it all that seriously while in most prior instances Sonic would have run away from her rather than going into a comedic subroutine and both also stopped with there antics the moment the Babylon Rogues open the door to the inside of Babylon Garden because this was actually something of important's.
And the using the scenes from Sonic and the Black knight that you use directly counter your point. Because Sonic was willingly about to go on a date with Amy and its him missing it that made him scared when he saw Nimue and got him into trouble with Amy at the end how is sonic not wanting to get beaten up by a mostly rightfully angry Amy prove that he dislikes her the very fact that he ended up in this situation would suggest the opposite.
Using Generation is also not the best of idea's really given that it was written by 2 guys that literally know next to nothing about Sonic and just did a quick Wikipedia page search because Sega actively discouraged them from doing much research.
Meanwhile do there more than one argument against you exist here with in the games from Small things like that Sonic hasn't runaway from Amy for no reason since 05's Sonic Rush all the way to the really heavy hitter that is 06 trail of Love that almost with its magic powered wisdom proves that Amy is beside Elise the only character in the games that sonic has ANY romantic feels for (the fact that this prove for Sonic having aromatic feels for Amy may annoy me but its there and I have to deal with it. And erasing Solaris should not have a big enough effect on Sonic and Amy's live as if this isn't the case anymore)
(also how can you make such a Anti-SonAmy compilation and forget to include Sonic Battle the game in which Amy is insane well not as insane as in Rush or free Riders she is far worse there but still)
