[COMIC DUB TEST] Sonic Vs. Super Sonic - Archie Sonic The Hedgehog #126
**custom thumbnail coming hopefully soon?**
so this is a video idea i had on the back burner for a while.
i initially wanted to do a comic dub test to see if i could do a dub on my own, as in all acted and edited by me.
however, a combination of me not fully enjoying the editing process, and my windows laptop breaking from a fan error prevented me from doing this project.
but thankfully i had the files saved on google drive and had some of my friends take a crack at editing this dub based on the material i had recorded.
and ultimately stuck with my buddy Jose, The Egg Paladin, as his editing was the right kind of flashy and exciting that i was looking for. and i cant thank him enough for his hard work so please be sure to check him out when you finish watching.
i also cant forget to thank my lovely girlfriend MC.Gemstone, who also tried editing this video herself, and did a bunch of the cropping and editing for the comic pages/panels themselves.

Everyone wants Jaleel to play Classic Sonic, except the only voices for Classic Sonic we've ever heard are either Japanese or Martin Burke. Jaleel has only ever played cartoon Sonic. lol
Okay, and the design used for those cartoons was classic sonic, ergo jaleel white is a classic sonic VA. Also Martin Burke never voiced Classic Sonic in any of the games, he was only ever in the anime ova which isn’t a game or canon to classic sonic.
It's a shame they made classic sonic in generations and forces completely mute. They had a perfect opportunity to cast Jaleel.

Jaleel White is my favorite voice actor for Sonic, but the wasn't it this live action movie Sonic that inspired Hollywood to make the Sonic Movie in the first place. If so I give the creator of props for inspiring an awesome Movie, and thank goodness Hollywood ditched Ugly Sonic.
Fun Fact: 'Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic SatAM)' is the 2nd ever ABC show Jaleel White stars in. No joke. I searched it and 'Family Matters' on Wikipedia over 10 years ago. Both of them are originally aired on ABC.

As a 17 year old who grew up watching Sonic SATAM, Sonic Underground, and AOSTH (and can sing the lyrics to SATAM and Underground as proof; can sing the tune of AOSTH since it doesn't have lyrics), I've been hearing Jaleel's voice since I was 6, so it really sucks that we didn't get to hear more of him these days. He's Sonic's FIRST voice actor, and trailblazed for more Sonic actors to come, and showed us how Sonic should sound like. Jaleel is, and always will be, _Way Past Cool._
