I've been living in Germany for more than 27 years now and the weather from November to February is very changeable but it never goes below -6 Celsius and the snow is very limited here, it could even happen that it doesn't snow at all in December but only in January and February. You don't need a really thick winter jacket either, and you can tell by the fact that you can't buy these jackets here in Germany - they tend to be thin and not thick. You've probably been living here for 1-2 years so gather your experience first. Be prepared for the permanent wet, it rains here soooo often and when it doesn't rain the moisture is permanently in the air from October onwards
