Very cool! I have fond memories of reading those magazines while my mom grocery shopped. I remember a lot of these from 97

That's awesome! The nostalgia you can get from these old wrestling magazines is something you can't describe, but it's a great feeling!

I agree with you that '97 was a fun year. I did have some of these magazines back then. I still have Bret/Simpsons WWF magazine and the "One Night Only one also.

That Bret/Bart magazine seems to go for high money than most in 1997. Probably cause Simpson's fans want that magazine too! But it's a classic cover!

Looking back it’s strange to me Shawn and Bret didn’t have more televised matches together.
To me Shawn didn’t hit his prime till 95. We don’t have that many televised matches between the two when Shawn was in his prime.
We have the Ironman match, which you gotta be in the mood to sit there for an hour for. Then we got the Survivor Series match that was mostly brawling and Shawn overselling, from what I remember.
If there was no screwjob the match would’ve been a lot longer. Wish we got just one normal, PPV match between Shawn and Bret in 97 or 96. I know there’s house show stuff but they’re not putting on the same match at a house show as they would on a PPV.

I remember the story was that HBK vs. Bret for the WWF Title was gonna happen at WM 13. But HBK had the bum knee so it never happened. Then HBK vs. Bret was gonna happen at KOTR 97 but Bret had the bum knee so it never happened. Ironically Steve Austin wrestled both men in their place. Then on Raw in July 97 it was gonna be HBK, Undertaker and Austin vs. Bret, Owen and Bulldog but HBK got taken out and Dude Love took his place. I do remember seeing somewhere, it may have been on the WWE Attitude Era unreleased Blu Ray where Sid vs. HBK vs. Bret happened for the WWF Title as a dark match after Raw when it was at Toronto Sky Dome in Feb. 97 before HBK "lost his smile". But yeah, strange to think that most of the HBK vs. Bret matches took place in 1992 for the IC Title.
