This was awesome, dude!! I am so close to completing 90-94, so it was nice to see the missing covers. I am still planning to go through these magazines one at a time. It'll definitely be interesting. 😃😃😃
Definitely do so! I feel any and all wrestling magazine talk/videos online is a good thing. It's kind of a niche thing on here to do so the more the merrier I say!
dang i missed sept 90 and i was a subscriber as it wasn't sold in town or you had to be real quick to buy a copy. renewed my sub. i still havent read it yet. thanks for the memories
@@xenaluck glad you are enjoying the video! And that sucks you missed out on that one. Like I said, I missed out on a few too when I was younger so it was nice to get them now and finally look through them and see the stuff I missed out on.
I have actually thought about doing that for some story lines that happened in wrestling. So once I get the energy and time to look through them to find what I need, I will do one of those types of videos!
Momentum is everything. WWF made some horrible creative decisions with the WWF Championship in 1993 and it helped to set the stage for WCW to mount an offensive at the outset of the Monday Night Wars. Hulk Hogan winning the WWF Championship at “WrestleMania IX” would not be looked upon as negatively as it is today if it had paid off with a match with Bret Hart at “Summerslam” with Bret regaining the belt with a clean victory. Instead Hogan dropped the belt to Yokozuna before leaving the WWF forcing the WWF to pivot on the fly to Lex Luger as their top babyface. Then the atrocious decision is made to forgo putting the belt on Luger at “Summerslam” which forces Yokozuna into being a long term champion (a position he should never have been in) and the dye was cast. Add into that the steroid and sex scandals diminishing domestic audiences for professional wrestling and WCW beginning their climb into relevancy in late 1993 with a series of solid PPVs and WWF was screwed.
That is all very accurate and true! Makes you wonder what if Hogan vs. Bret would have happened how drastically the WWF landscape would have changed going into 1994?!

You should take some random magazines from the 80's and discuss the stories in them at that time.
