The Alaska trip was last year and the numbers where high at the time because it was the beginning of tourist season. The numbers are VERY low this year!
I loved your whole series on Alaska. We are going Aug of '24 on a 11 day cruisetour. We will be sailing on the Noordam as well. I've gotten alot of good tips from Ilana, Life Well Cruised. Your guided tours have been amazing and I'm sure I will watch them again. So very excited and counting the days! Only 509 to go!!🤣🤣🤣

Question here to clear some confusion regarding the airport departure from Canada and the plastic bag for fluid items, is that for your carry on items? Or for checked luggage? Kind regards and thanks in advance
It is for your carry on. We were told we could only have 1small bag-issued by them at the airport, with any and all liquids in it. We are used to several small bags with bottles of no more than 3 oz each in bottle. For Canada, it is 1 small bag total.
We wore masks in the airports, on the ship while indoors and for the most part in Alaska. Numbers in Alaska, at the time, were very high. We made it 2 years without getting it and it was mild, so we are grateful!
