ETHAN!! You should try and reduce the weight on the slide panels as much as possible when they are in operation, even pulling the couch into the main area and then push it back into the slide panel. It can stress the motors and slide mechanism during operation.

Weird my instincts were telling me he wasn't happy or not happy part of the time, but could be off about that. I hope that they last & are happy. Ethan, potable water is usually available straight ahead beyond the dump area. The idea is you dump your tanks, and then rinse them and the valves with the NON potable water that's available right by the dump hole, because it would just be a waste to use good potable water for that. Next, you move the RV forward about 10 yds. where you'll usually find a potable water fill station (spigot). That's where you fill your RV water tank! Also, when you dump your tanks, you don't need to connect up every piece of sewer line hose you have. Just use enough to reach the dump hole by the most direct route. That way, all the crud from your holding tanks won't have to find its way down an impassably long hose to the dump hole, with chucks getting stuck in the looonnnngg hose along the way. You'll minimize difficulty cleaning out your dump hose by using the shortest possible length. Good luck, and have fun, but don't get any on you!

RV black tank tip: pour 1 cup Calgon water softener and 1 cup granular laundry detergent into toilet. Add several gallons of water to tank. Calgon makes it slippery and detergent is mildly abrasive to clean the tank. Cheap and efficient too. Enjoy your new ride boys!❤

Hey guys, I just sold mine...I wish I knew you were looking because it was beautiful with low miles diesel pusher with 38k miles. Anyway, please please be careful on right hand turns and if you don't know already, look into "Backswing", especially when at fuel stations other than like Love's and Pilot etc.

I live in Utah an been following you for a while now. It's awesome you were able to bounce back from your breakup an found a guy it appears to really like you. I suffer from COPD emphysema pulmonary hypertension and cancer. So I'm on oxygen 24 hrs a day an can't get out anymore. So your videos are awesome to me. Dr says I probably have only 6 months to year left. An I wish like hell I could donate to you but my health takes all my money. God bless you Ethan. That RV is a nice upgrade from the old camper, but probably less nimble for travelling. .. but you have Austins truck for that. Im impressed with your fearless approach to cooking-- that seems to turn out successfully. Great job!

FYI use fabric softener in your black tank to help keep your solids broken up and don't ever leave your black tank open when hooked up to a sewer due to the water will flow out and leave the solids behind causing problems later.
Would have loved to have seen videos on the selection and buying process for your RV.
It was just stress haha, and a lot of driving.

Have you guys thought about getting a tow set up for Austin’s truck to tow it behind the RV? You could still go exploring but also use it for errands instead of always having to drive the RV for supplies.

As long as they keep Austin's truck with them, they don't need a car. I don't think they will tow the truck. They will drive it instead.
Using a window shade as a projector screen reminds me of something. Years ago I lived in Chicago with its high-rise apartment buildings. I used to enjoy sitting outside on summer evenings. We got to see some rather interesting things in nearby buildings. There was a guy in the building behind us who used his window shade as a projector screen. What he didn't realize though was that shades are opaque. What he projected onto the screen was also clearly visible on the reverse side of the shade. People outside could see his shows through his windows. His shows were often porn. Binoculars helped.
I was hoping you'd go in this direction. When I moved to southern Middle Tennessee a little over two years ago, I bought a 35'ft 5th wheel RV (1st time ever being in one) with three slide-outs and have made it my home. It's stationary at the same campground but if I were to ever decide to move back west towards N.M. or AZ, this is going with me as I know there are other gay campgrounds out west. Should you and Austin ever venture back east through TN, we have plenty of large spaces with 30/50 amp service, water, and sewer hookup for large motorhomes and RV's. Our busy season is May-Oct with large event weekends, but this campground is 365/24/7 year round which is why I stay here. About 10 of us are fulltime residents and others who come and go with the seasons. Now the most important question, is there going to be a wedding?
Hey Ethan & Austin, that is such a nice RV! I always wonder how people can maneuver those huge vehicles. At least y'all have lots of room to feel comfortable in without feeling crowded. I always see vacationers drive those RVs down to Texas where I live. They come down from up north for the winter months, then head back up to their homes when the weather warms up.I know y'all are gonna have lots of fun travelling in your new RV!🎉❤😊

But, YIKES, do not ride in the slide-out while it is being moved, it puts extra pressure on all the mechanism/motors and slide rollers,, and will wear it out much quicker.

about time you got something worthwhile. May I suggest, having experience with class A homes, tow your pick up behind the Class A , That way if you do break, down, you still have away to travel for repairs etc. Well worth it.

Beautiful RV. I used to host tours on 55 passenger motor coaches. We kept the toilet sweet smelling by adding a half cup of ground coffee .

Congrats on a larger, more luxurious, and spacious home! One recommendation that will quiet shakes and rattling. We bought a non-skid, rubber like mesh covering, in rolls. It is thin and easily cut with scissors. We lined every cabinet with it. We then placed a small square of it between each and every plate, bowl, appliance, etc., items on the table or flats services got a square placed under them. Nothing moved around even when we drove off road with our 40’ RV. Maybe you have tried this. But if not, it’s amazing how much quieter the ride is. Happy trails! Safe travels!

I had to grin when Austin checked Ethan on his I bought an RV instead of we. Ethan has got to learn to start using we, us, and our more. He’s not used to the fact that there are two of them now, both out and visible on TH-cam.
I hope the new RV works well for them. Operation and upkeep on those is so expensive. Whatever happens, I’m just glad they have each other and the dogs.

Here is an important note, especially for two men! Stop peeing outside and think you are "saving" your tank level. You need pee in the tank to break up the solids. Otherwise, with no liquid and just solid waste, you will not be able to empty your tank properly.

Ethan! for your blacktank, there is an adapter you can purchase that goes onto the blank tank dumping thing. You then attach a garden hose to is and "back fill" the black tank. It's recommended you also get that inline thing that measures how much water is going into the black tank so you don't overfill and.. yeah. That Adapter is made of clear plastic so you can see what goes by. Then your dump hose attaches to it... You backfill the tank then stop, Pull the plunger and watch is drain... Doing this a few times, you might be surprised at what flows by.... Also those chemicals things transforms stuff into slimy sludge from what i've heard professionals and it will coat the interior of the black tank (including the sensors)... so it'S not recommended. There are also special wands you can buy that goes at the end of a garden hose.. You open the toilet trap and lower it into the black tank and it "pressure washes" the interior. Hope this helps a little.
