Hi paul its andy you ok glad you are liking the vfr1200 i know you had one before still have mine and the 2 750 models all mine away for the winter now my 1200 love every minute off riding it had it 3yr now I have a double buble screen on and it works well as had my seat done by a guy tony archer not far from me thats made it loads more better on the bum . Also got some bar risers off ebay from china same idea as the 750/800 ones take the clip on off and its a spacer that drops down the fork lifts bar a good half inch very easy to fit takes about 10 minutes. Yeah my gripes are find clutch heavy and fuel range not the best but rest off the bike is great mine on 15500 miles now still low miles done 8000 thousand on it last month got 2 new tyres for it michelin road 6 gt had road 5 before these tyres are the best ones i have ever had last for good miles and the grip is great not tried the 6 ones yet due to winter been here will update you when i use it in the spring next year.
@@andyrawlings5369 Thanks for all the info. Yes the seat is something I will get done, next year. Yes a heavy clutch might become an issue but I will live with it. It would not have killed them to make the tank a wee bit bigger. However, the ergonomics, the slip on luggage, glorious shaft drive and the wonderful V4 and timeless design make up for it all. Happy safe riding Andy, thanks for watching.
