After hearing both version, I'd prefer NT version's voice tone when I hear is first time. However, V4X (Vocaloid) is so much better on voice processing (lesser engine noise) and cleaner/brighter voice (really, you can hear quality differences in 1:05 and 2:38). This is just my preferences, but I still wish Crypton can more optimize their software as I can see potential within it.

Miku sounds a lot more machine-like as an NT voice library compared to her v4x voice library, which sounds a lot more lively (at least, to me). But honestly, I can't blame CFM for it, Miku NT is still a beta voice library after all. One thing that I can definitely praise Crypton for is that she sounds kinda crunchy now and I like it that way. We love a crunchy legend 😔✊

@@inotfunny8506 personally, I'm fine with the slight robotic accent, but the nasal sound? Hell no. That's what ruined Kaito in the first place. The old voicebanks were choppy but were still clear when it came to some parts, to me a nasal voicebank can be compared to a muddled mixture of paint, with the original colors making it up undiscernable.

I'm getting a cold from Miku's stuffy nose... but she sounds clear sometimes... when you hear a high def song featuring V4X miku, you understand that blast of clearness like a piece of glass shattering... but NT needs a tissue paper then she would sound like a crystal chalace
Hm, V4X's softness and clarity is more soothing to hear! Very nice! idk why but the overwhelming thickness of NT sounds like a human got something in her throat... agonizing. Like someone trying to force a moe voice and is suffering from it. Or maybe it's just Miku is a by-product of an "acted" voice thus the engine is limited by that concept... Unfortunate. Maybe a non-miku voice works better with NT.

Not relevant but this song brings back memories of watching Cardcaptor sakura in fourth grade... luckily for me, clear card came out when i was in fifth grade but for some reason I like the old version better, although clear card has better, prettier animation.

crypton did say they were dissatisfied with the realism vocaloid has now. So they probably want the more robotic sound. But I like that so fine by me.
