Its mind infuriating how unique this game's art, mechanisms, ambience, music and sound effects are. I hope that someday they will remake it with proper coding (to prevent multiple undetectable cheats) or someone else releases something similar at least.

I can recall myself sitting inside byalan dungeon, waiting for my hp and sp to regen and plan my revenge to that Marina that killed me. I didnt have dex that time so I kept missing my hit. My heart is happy remembering these things. Cheers people. This song knows us well enough to touch our hearts

I wonder now what kind of mental state or rather trance it must have been for a 14 year old boy, who is cutting classes in junior school for two straight months (from 7 am to 4pm), whilst the rest of the school is looking for him. And no matter how many times this BGM music plays and repeats on the background, Time seems to feel more slow, as it has become the longest moment; but not for killing time at all... but for the adventures of the heart, whilst everything just seems to disappear. The aftermath wasn't that 'Nice 'n Easy' though, and all the straight A's become D's in the end, yet still it is spiritual.
I remembered the time I was killing monsters in byalan dungeon, manually clicking my targets and double attacking them to death. I was just weeks into the game when I had my first hydra card drop ever. I was a total newbie back then so I sold my hydra card for 200k zeny not realizing it was worth at least 1 million on those days.
This game destroyed my school grades. 😅 I can still clearly remember those classes I was slept on because I was playing this game the whole fkn night on a dial up internet or very early cable internet. 😆 Great times... 😌
Recently had a dream where I was in Byalan Dungeon except there was a new secret area of the dungeon that had multiple forks like 8 of them all next to each other leading to the other underground areas & islands (i.e Turtle Island) in Ragnarok.
Be honest, this probably the first dungeon that will make you rich. Its full of bot and the loot os not bad at all, it sells around 50-200z each. Not to mention this is where you got the illustrious hydra card and marc lol.
Now you know why you can't stand the grind in modern online games now.. because none of them have bangers like these to keep you focused, instead you just fall asleep.. when was the last time you can recall a game that had an ost that you can remember? Thats right.. you can't...
