A little tech tip for painting wheels. Use a deck of playing cards and they slip in the edge of the wheel and then it masks it off super fast and then you can put tape around the outside edge to cover the rest of the tire.
Jimmy i know your probably not into making a vid of it but id be interested to see you give it a proper good cleaning under the bed/ archs/ engine etc i think that would be satisfying
Lived in Indonesia for 20 yrs and used those trucks for hauling my bikes around. Brand new they were about 8 thousand bucks! The suzukis and mitsubishis were the toughest of the bunch.

I had a HiJet on loan over the summer while I had some work done on my AZ-1. I was using a JBL Charge bluetooth speaker which I had on the dash, and then one day it accidentally fell into the footwell - INSTANTLY SOUNDED BASSIER! So yeah, if you can somehow mount a speaker down there it sounds great.
I got that same "Dual" head unit in my hooptie. Got it on clearance at Walmart after Xmas for $11 and came with 2 speakers. Its actually been really good for the price.

Nice the intake mod😎 i remember if the old e36 328 engine. Gets around 25 hp extra euro spec. 1 thing brain try to buy a e36 with a 2.1 liter 4 cilinder from HARTGE. Its a tuner. They took a 1.8 16v and made it beter its spicy.. 170 hp stock. Nice turbo. Your good to go..😍 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is in reference to your grime removing technique for bolts, by putting them in a water bottle with wax and grease remover..harbor freight sells a 2 liter ultrasonic cleaner for like 50 bucks. I fill fill it 2/3 with water then add about a cup of simple green cleaner, and run it. Bolts and hardware come out spotless

It's missing the passenger seat because my friends dad that bought it new in the 80s was a delivery driver and needed space. The driver door is also wonky so I crawl in the passenger door and plop into the driver seat like a weirdo. Love the 3 cylinder POS though.

If you use the wash bottle trick for the screws make a little bit sand in it and steel wool and a good yeeet oven cleaner SHAKE IT after that clean it with breake clean and it looks like brand new
DON'T WELD THE NUT! hope you guys see this. I just suggested your idea to my mate who has a 330i as a fix for his and he said people started welding it in the UK but it makes the shaft even weaker and they started snapping shafts!
Cool truck. Next time you have wheels to paint get a pack of index cards and use those to go around the wheel. Way quicker than tape. Trust me I have been doing body work for 25+ years.
Most people don’t realize or know that quality sound has way more to do with your source than the speakers. As long as you don’t exceed the power rating of the simple motors(speakers), you’ll get great sound with a better source (amplifier)
Because that's untrue. Shit speakers will always sound like shit no matter what you power them with. Ask anyone who's ever competed is SQ competitions or built systems.

Metra 70-1761 for certain Toyotas of this era with the 10pin/4 speaker setup works with the S100/S110P Daihatsu Hijets as-well as the newer S200/S210P. No need to make your own adapter or cut off your factory plug like a neanderthal :D
cut a lil hole in the cab behind the seat and put a sub woofer box in the bed facing into the cab. use rubber to weather seal it and and put the box in a plastic container or a metal container to be sure no water gets in

Good trick for painting wheels is putting 4x6 note cards between the lip and tire instead of masking

After I welded my oil pump nut on my S50, it was the oil pump housing bolts that backed out. Luckily I caught it while it still had some oil pressure.
