There's a reason the Yanmar are lighter, they use aluminum blocks (VP use cast iron) and other weight saving design features. VP's last a lot longer than Yanmar's especially in boats like Targa's that are operated in rough weather too. Also in a boat like this you want the extra weight, weight is stability and comfort in rough seas.

Twin Yanmar 370/v8 is amazing in Targa 32. Much lighter then the wery heavy Volvos and great toque as well

D4 or outboards.
Does this ship have enough space to install a gyro stabilizer?
You can get a 32 with a seakeeper if you order outboards with the boat.
