Honestly he’s been one of the better himbos on the show lately. Nice exit and exit interview Matt!
You can see he's very charismatic and I respect how well he took the whole elimination

He may not be your favorite houseguest, but I respect the way Matt exited the house and how he's handled himself in post-show interviews.

I liked Matt. I think Angela really did him wrong. She was the one with a crazy issue. Not all young men that are good looking and in good shape are self centered, rude or disrespectful like what was implied. Angela said she knows his type. Ya right, sure you do Angela. And how is that. By one glance.I think Matt carried himself so well in that house considering what he went through. His parents should be very proud of him. I am a 69 year old fan of Big Brother and have watched every season and every episode. I was so excited to see some older houseguests. But watching Angela's constand attacks. I was embarrassed. Hold your head high Matt.
Angela stereotyped and profiled Matt to be someone she was going to intimidated by. It was her own insecurities that made her go off on Matt.
I was so embarrassed for her ridiculous immature behavior. Not sure how her family tolerates her arrogance and bullying! She tired me out on the first couple episodes. She needs to go away!
Ty for responding I agree with you totally. I think Matt was a class act from his last speech in the house right through to his interview with Julie. He was polite and more importantly respectful. I watch the live feeds also and never did I hear Matt threaten Angela in their one on ones. Your right. It was her own insecurities.
Matt was obnoxious & his eyes were, in fact, crazy. Everyone commented on it until Angela said it on the show & now everyone wants to feel bad & baby this grown man. He acted like he was on stimulants his whole time in the house. So happy he is gone

He had a mature attitude for the Angela situation. A lot would have blown up and the situation would have escalated even further.
Yeah which would've been fun but keeping his cool was one of the only good things he did while in the game.

He doesn’t deserve to be first boot while Kenney is still in the house volunteering to go on the block.
This was my exact thought. Kenney had no desire to stay in the house and he even said he would rather go home if that means Matt stays.
I want to say he misses his family a lot, if that’s not the case I find It revolting that he would throw his game away while thousands and others would kill to be on the show

So many past house guests who were affraid to get their seasons hot dude bros out week 1, are watching this season and are saying "oh i should have done that it would have been easy and nothing bad happens."
Instead they "wanted to go with the house, not make enemies, they can get the jock out later pre jury."

Yeah he seems to take it well and he was charming.
Matt didn’t succeed at achieving the archetype we expected but he’s a good man. He didn’t deserve Angela’s outburst but keeping it in perspective she tried three times to make him a target and put him up and out of the house. She started with commenting on his looks and potential showmance onto her broadcasting and mischaracterizing his storage room meetings onto her theatrical performance on the landing of the stairs. She is unhinged and a bully who doesn’t hesitate to go for the jugular.

Wouldn't have wanted him to win, but I did want him to go a little further just because Angela was so rude to him. He wasn't perfect in the house, but he did not deserve Angela attacking him so hard.

Really refreshing. Much like Hisam from BB25, I found Matt to be more “real” for lack of a better term after leaving the house. I suppose having all those cameras on you 24/7 could hamper your true personality a bit. But love the self deprecating insight. That’s the secret sauce to use in the game if you can.

Okay..I literally just went from having absolutely NO opinion on Matt whatsoever, to loving him. LOVING HIM. He is such a nice guy, wow! Great sense of humor and just seems real cool. I hope he ends up on some other shows!
Too bad The Bachelor is not CBS because I could see Julie trying to get him on that type of show where he is the STAR.

Didn't like Matt for how conceited he was, but he's also weirdly secure with himself. Which makes him a villain people actually wouldn't mind coming back and seeing again, because he's not one of those who, when offended, will make people uncomfortable, with discriminatory cheap shots. Don't know how they cast people these season, but they did great. We might have our first interesting and non problematic one. If it keeps going like this, the future looks bright.

He isn't "competing" if it isn't a comp that the winner needs brute strength that favors him?
He was talking about how he worked out just to basically compete in two kind of luck based competitions
I mean he played in a mental comp and a comp where ur not supposed to use strength. his point isnt about winning its just about getting that chance in the first place

I think he based this on the last 10 seasons where most of the comps were strength based. I can't fault him for that. It is way more surprising that the comps have been equitable so far this year.

Matt was very confident, which In turn came off a little arrogant but I like him he is who he is. Nothing wrong with loving oneself A LOT. I will miss the what could have been. I hope to see him in more challenging shows
I liked everything he had to say but I don’t think the other HG felt “unsafe” around Angela after that fight, if anything ppl just didn’t wanna work with her after that

I've got PTSD from a narcissist and that scene on the stairs was very uncomfortable. When Angela came off the stairs headed towards Matt I wanted to leave the room and I'm obviously not there.

I'm glad Matt is gone. I won't have to hear him talk about himself on feeds, have bad game to MJ on feeds, and the forced showmance on the show. Him thinking everyone should and would be willing to put themselves OTB to save him and THEN hand him HOH the next week rubbed me the wrong way. But he is far from the usual type of bad dude we usually have to deal with on BB. I'll gladly watch him on The Challenge or other shows that don't have live feeds. 😆 Matt in edited TV episodes only could be enjoyable. Lol. And he is being such a good sport about it all too.
